GoogleAs buyers Simon was exceptional at keeping everyone taking to each other and making everything transparent. Simon seems to know somebody in every office in Sheffield, so any issues and he was straight onto it! We've had tough times with estate agents before but Evans Lee were brilliant. GoogleWe’ve rented with Evans Lee for the last 4 years. The guys have a fabulous and stunning portfolio of properties. They continue to support the tenants and landlords. GoogleWell that sale was effortless! Evans Lee are professional, competent and have a modern approach to house selling. Simon is personable, casual, honest, and tells it as it is - all positive attributes in our book. Simon valued our property at the price he said it was worth which was considerably more than 2 other local Agents had suggested. It sold in less than a week and before the brochures had time to be printed! This sale has required constant communication between several parties and this has been seamless. We will not hesitate to recommend Simon and his Team to you.

GoogleI chose Evans Lee to sell a property for me based on the recommendation of a friend. He said that “they could be trusted to get the job done and didn’t mess around”. It was a good choice. Simon Lee managed the whole process and was efficient, friendly and well organised. He did what he said he was going to do and communicated well throughout the whole process. He was determined to get the best price and did just that. Simon was supported by an excellent back office team who were equally friendly and efficient. I have never had a great deal of respect for estate agents but the team at Evans Lee are exceptional. If you have a property to sell in their area, I wholeheartedly recommend Evans Lee.

GoogleOutstanding service - Simon sold our house at the beginning of the year, and has been worth his weight in gold. The whole team are very approachable, and the communication has been fantastic. We got a very good price for the house, and Simon has gone above and beyond in dealing with many queries from our buyers (who were first time buyers and had lots of questions). He was patient and understanding throughout and our sale went on without a hitch. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend for both service and ability to achieve a great price for your home. Possibly one of the longer running deals as Simon sold our house 3 times, due to initially the people were buying from changing their mind (first lock down) and then our second buyers having some family crisis. Each time the house was on the market things were handled very efficiently and sold within a few days of the viewing. GoogleI’m very surprised at the positive reviews. I was applying for a property to rent through Evans Lee. They weren’t able to accommodate a viewing outside of normal office hours so the landlord had to show us around the property himself. We were each charged fees for “checks” and the landlord was charged a fee for these also. The checks never appear to have been conducted, as my previous landlord confirmed he hadn’t been contacted. There was zero flexibility offered, I had to take time off work to visit their office at a time that suited them. We had to ask for amendments to the contract because it was a standard contract that didn’t suit the property. I distinctly remember receiving rude emails from Amy. One of the most negative experiences I’ve had in numerous years as a renter.

GoogleBuying a house during a global pandemic, a country in lockdown and with a wife whose 8 months pregnant might sound like a stupid thing to do but Simon made the whole process smooth and painless. From our first visit to the property and meeting Simon, he was professional and put us at ease. He didn’t give us the usual estate agent ‘patter’ but answered all our questions knowledgeably. On our second viewing we knew it was the house for us and after a bit of back and forth the house was ours! GoogleWe very recently sold our house with Evans Lee. Simon is like no other estate agent I have met. The "casual" approach masks a highly committed and professional individual and organisation. Simon and his team were absolutely excellent eg. He answered his mobile phone whilst on holiday in Spain!; all enquires were dealt with promptly; the property was presented excellently; there was no fudging of issues. The chain was long and complex and required someone who was trustworthy with good communication skills, caring and committed in order to see this through and I have to say that Simon was the man. I am a busy professional and the last thing I wanted was to have the hassle and the stress of dealing with the issues associated with buying and selling. Simon from the first day assured me that he would deal with all the issues and promised that he would get us there and he surely did. GoogleHaving looked at the competitive Sheffield housing market for over a year and frustrated with no progress, Evans Lee came into our house search just at the right time. Within a month they had found us our ideal house and importantly also sold ours. Bringing a calm but very straightforward approach to the often quite stressful process of buying and selling. Simon’s initial hour consultation with us yielded the right result, realistic in his valuation of our property (where other estate agents may not have been) and extremely clear on our requirements. Incidentally, Simon remembered us and our old house from 10 years previous when we sold it with another estate agent! Evans Lee is friendly, enthusiastic and professional, setting realistic no-nonsense expectations along the way. Our house sold within a week for the asking price with no fuss. Evans Lee also work with trusted colleagues all of whom share the same principles of professionalism and quality of service. As such, the whole process is driven by a personal touch, supported by expert local knowledge and is practically seamless.
