GoogleAbsolutely horrifc company, group of people and brand. If these were my agents as a landlord I would want my money back. Most immoral, disprectful, tragic mob I have had the displeasure to have anything to do with. If you're thinking of renting a place from these you'll regret it from the moment you enquire, nothing but trouble. Absolutely no idea how they are still active as a business.

Dear David, I hope you are well. Thank you for your recent review of our business. We are shocked to receive such a negative review and have tried to get to the bottom of this with no success. We have checked over 5 years of customer records and have found no record of a “David Russell”. We also have no Landlord or Contractor with this name. We have searched our email Inbox’s and again there is no “David Russell” to be found. If you are a genuine customer of ours we would love to hear from you so we can better understand your grievance. We can then look to put it right. We strive to be the best in our market and happy customers are paramount. Indeed, this year we have had our highest ever number of “re-signs” (where customers resign a tenancy with us for another year). We also do very little advertising for landlords, instead benefiting from recommendation and word of mouth. In relation to your claims that we are “immoral”. Firstly let me state that we are not. Honesty and integrity are key to the reputation of our business. We are members of Sheffield and District Landlord Association, the Residential Landlord Association, the Sheffield Student Landlord Association, the Property Ombudsman, the National Approved Letting Scheme and the Safe Agent Scheme. All tenant rent monies are held in a separate clients' account away from our business account. In addition all tenant deposits are held in a separate ring fenced audited account and protected by mydeposits.co.uk, one of the approved government schemes. Mydeposits confirm that we have one of the highest credit rating scores of any of their agents in the country. We also have client money protection insurance, giving all our Landlords peace of mind regarding their rent monies. Sheffield City Council will also testify to us being one of their recommended Agents. We are in regular contact with their department on various proactive matters relating to the private rented sector in Sheffield. Again we reiterate that if you are a genuine customer of ours, please do contact us so we can try to rectify whatever has caused your grievance. We can then also look to implement any necessary changes to our way of doing business and so ensure our valued customers receive only the best experience. Unfortunately as there is no record of you being one of our customers, you have provided no specific details relating to your review, and there is no complaint on file from you - we are unable to respond further at this time. FacebookAbsolutely appalling - Appalling customer service - Especially from Sarah in maintenance (what maintenance!) - Total disregard for students health & safety - zero urgency in dealing with any complaints. All for the landlord & not for the person paying rent, Seems Dove take advantage of the fact their dealing with students/young adults - wouldn’t get away with the awful standards of accommodation or appalling customer service if it was professional people renting instead of students - previous property checks were clearly not done - house was still filthy dirty- previous tenant’s bin bags still there spilt contents, cobwebs, dirty floors, mouldy bathrooms, mouldy damp walls, broken back door handle so property wasn’t even secure on the 1st night - This property just discovered black mould all over the bottom of the mattress and on the bed slats - The response from Dove - for us to wipe it off!!! The carpet is black under the bed! Absolute jokers - My advice is to stay well clear of them as if you have any issues, be prepared to be fobbed of with excuses at every opportunity as they’re just not bothered about the tenant - don’t waste your money on any of their properties and seriously don’t waste your breath trying to talk to them - If you do rent from them, be prepared to put up and shut up…..oh and sleep on mould
