Had visited couple of showrooms at Kelham Central, quite impressed with the entire development concept. I think it will be a nice, chill and secure community to live in. A big thank to Emily, Citu's Rep, for her professional help to explain the whole project in detailed. I as a new comer to the UK and a first time buyer, Emily showed great patience to all my questions and follow up with a detailed email. This place is definitely in my consideration list.

Viewing New Build Property in Sheffield

Went to see a new build house in the Citu Kelham Island development. We were shown round by Sarah. She spent about 2 hours with us, finding out what we were looking for and then taking us to a finished property to see the fittings spec before showing us the not quite finished property we were considering. Sarah finished off by recommending we look round the development as a whole.Sarah was just brilliant. Apart from the lengthy time she spent with us, she was just so informative about everything. Citu are lucky to have her!By the time we left, we felt we were in a really good position to make an informed decision. We actually decided against taking our interest any further but it was a very worthwhile experience as we look for a new property.

I adore my apartment in Kelham Central

I adore my apartment in Kelham Central, it offers something so different to your average new build in terms of design, and sustainable living is very important to me. Buying a Citu home was a tough choice for me as I also work for the developer, however it’s a choice I’m glad I made. I am only just starting to experience living in it during the colder months, but I haven’t had to put my heating on as yet. Its also been surprisingly cool during the heat we have had this summer. Citu took a little longer than the advertised 28 days to rectify the defects I had in my home however, these were few and all minor things such as paint scuffs and a few scratches. There was an electrical problem in my apartment in the first few weeks that affected my neighbours also, Citu reacted to this as soon as possible keeping us updated with progress until it was resolved. It’s been 6 months now and I’m discovering more hidden gems around Kelham Island and I love seeing Kelham Central progress, especially the shared green spaces

Aire Lofts - tour of the apartments

We took a site tour of the new Aire Lofts apartments at Citu Leeds on Saturday. Danielle and her colleagues had arranged the tour to keep us updated on the progress of our son’s new 2 bed apartment.Really impressed by the atmosphere of the whole development. Green spaces everywhere, and a relaxed feel. The ‘buz’ of the city stops as you cross the wonderful Citu Bridge over the river.The real surprise was the total commitment to quality. It shows in the overall plan / strategy for the development…and it is evident in the apartments themselves. Right angles are…just that. Screws are placed in perfectly straight lines. Quality materials fitted with care and craftmanship. Attention to detail shows throughout…really shows! So different to the big housebuilders who I feel ‘throw’ up buildings with seemingly little care.A large scale development which demonstrates such a high degree of quality is a rarity.Thanks to Danielle, and the Citu construction Teams in design, build and fit.Looking forward to our next tour.RegardsRob Peck

Expensive mistake?

Like many other purchasors, we have many defects with our home. Citu have been made aware of the problems, but either don't reply or take months to do nothing. It's such a shame as the idea of the Climate Innovation District is a great one, but Citu themselves have somehow turned it into a disaster of leaky roofs, wobbly cladding, inadequate security, failing gates, thefts and planning contraventions. I cannot say this strongly enough: Don't have anything to do with Citu!
