GooglePromise price match on their website but wouldn’t price match with a directly comparable service when asked. We had to chase for a week to get them to decide. Firstly we were told it is because the cheaper facility is out of the 20 mile radius they say they’ll price match with, when we pointed out it’s actually only 18 miles away they basically confirmed they couldn’t price match because the Castleford storage facility offered too good a discount. If you can, go to Castleford, it’s literally half the price for 12 weeks, then the same price as Selby, plus they have better facilities and ring back quickly. Selby was more convenient for us but we’ve gone with Castleford because at a saving of over £150 for 8 weeks we’d have been daft not to.

GoogleJust started storing with Selby Self Storage yesterday. Danielle was very helpful and made the process easy and explained things very well. Dave who was our van driver (we took up the van offer if you store for six months or more) was amazing, incredibly helpful when he didn't have to be and advised me that I probably wouldn't need as big a unit as I thought, which was brilliant, he's a credit to the company. Faultless service all round.

GoogleI found my storage unit at Selby Self Storage to be very secure, clean, waterproof, and accessible. Lots of trolleys (that work) for moving stuff in and out. Always friendly, polite and extremely helpful staff on site each time I visited. Clean toilet facilities ( a blessing when traveling a distance to store or retrieve stuff) And the most important point to my mind when it comes to self storage companies, they repaid my deposit and excess rental payment promptly with no fuss. I would use Selby Self Storage again without any hesitation.

Ryan, We are saddened that you have left such a poor, inaccurate review of our services. When you reported a small amount of mould on a couple of your items in July, which may or may not have been present before the goods entered our facility, our team did their utmost to help. Offering to help you relocate the items to an alternate unit right away, but you elected to leave them in the same unit. We pride ourselves on quality and service, thus have had no other reports of such cases in our 3 years’ operating in Skelmersdale. In regards to access times, these have not changed from the point of agreeing the rental of the unit. We believe that an appropriate resolution has now been found and wish you well for the future.
