We have recently let our property through Entwistle Green's Southport office. This choice was made based on the happy experience when we bought a property from Entwistle Green a few years ago and also on the obvious knowledge of the lady who we first spoke to a few months ago when we enquired about them marketing a rental property for us. She demonstrated a very clear understanding of all the latest legislation concerning residential lettings. Unfortunately she left the firm before the property was let. This was rather unnerving, but our confidence was restored when matters were seamlessly taken over and competently dealt with by her colleagues Lucy and Alex. Both went to great length's to ensure the "best fit" was made between us as Landlord and also our new tenants - who are lovely - and that all practical matters were dealt with efficiently. I would definitely use them again should the opportunity arise.

From initial contact, Alex has been very professional but friendly whenever I have needed to speak to her about the sale progression. Although it is a very busy office, if I have not been able to speak to Alex due to her being busy with other clients, she has always taken the time to respond quickly to any email or voice message. I have received excellent Customer Service from Entwistle Green at Formby especially from Harriet. Harriet has kept me up to date on viewings, and has really pushed to sell my property. She was always at the end of the phone to answer any questions or concerns I have had. I first put my property up for sale with a competitor initially in December then with Entwistle Green in March this year. I am really impressed with the professionalism shown by Harriet. Harriet has excellent communication skills, a appetite to deliver first class service and to deliver on what she promises and receive results. The experience in selling my property has been as stress free as possible. I would recommend Harriet to my family and friends. Saying that the experience I have received from a competitor estate agents is nothing compared to the experience from Entwistle Green I wished I had signed up with Entwistle Green first. I arrived in Warrington in January knowing nobody in the city. Searching a flat online did not help a lot. Walking by entwistle green i decided to enter and ask for more info! Luckily Mrs Dora Seimeni was there who was more than helpful. After she showed me some flats in the city, indecided to review one. Dora could not be more helpful really, she explained everything thoroughly and helped me understand how the bills work, how to accommodate etc. being totally new in the country knowing nothing, i m thankful that i found her. Entwistle Green as well was immediately next to me when something needed to be fixed in my flat! 5 stars, can’t recommend enough both the agency and my agent Dora.

Awful experience would not use again

Awful experience would not use again. I dealt with Gary Trappe at the Burnley branch. He valued our property for £15,000 more than it was sold for at auction where we had felt pressured to sell. Apart from the initial contact to sign the contract I never heard from him again even though he had been kept in the loop via email communication with the suction company - I am sold. It was particularly misleading and deceptive as we had signed a contract less than a month ago with him and there had been no mention of the valuation price changing and certainly not by that much. Either the valuation price had deliberately been set high to entice us or they hadn’t pushed the sale. We ended up making a loss of £15,000 using them and their auction company. They care about getting their fees paid and they really don’t care to make you the maximum from the sale. To that end they do the bare minimum. I would not use again because they don’t consider your best interest only their own.

My experience was very poor when using them for selling property via Flyp. They did not respond promptly to the buyers when their colleague was on leave and no one covered that colleague's work/monitored the email. The deal was nearly fell through because of it!
