I am very impressed with the service my family have received from Kay at the Scunthorpe Branch of Starkey & Brown. 1-Star Review Extremely Unprofessional and Immoral Conduct, A Warning to Fellow Investors As very experienced property investors, we have dealt with numerous estate agents over the years, but we have never encountered a firm that has acted in such an unprofessional and frankly immoral manner. After our offer on a property was accepted, the agent continued to allow viewings, without informing us. We submitted our mortgage application the same day and followed up promptly, yet there was no courtesy call, no email, and no transparency. This kind of behaviour, particularly the allowance of gazumping after an accepted offer, is unacceptable and unethical. It shows a clear disregard for proper business conduct and respect for serious buyers. We strongly advise others, especially fellow investors, to be extremely cautious when dealing with this firm. This experience will be reported across social media, property investor networks, and review platforms to ensure others are fully informed. Proceed with great caution.

Kara came to value my house as I wanted to sell. She did a great job and the pictures she took were brilliant. Very friendly and gave my all the information I needed very clearly. I had a courtesy call the following day from Melanie which to me meant a lot. Amie then took over and she was also great as she sorted out a query I had straight away and again very friendly. My original sale fell through and they were able to take me on as a client, market my property and have me an offer accepted within 3 business days. Everyone in the team was helpful, knowledgeable and supportive. I didnt have one bad experience with them throughout my sale and their help with our subsequent purchase. We both have to say that Lucy Atkinson is an asset to the team. She was our Sales Progressor and I have nothing but glowing feedback. She knows what's happening with her cases, she'll stand your corner and she'll be there to support you through the highs and lows of buying and selling houses. We had some terrible experiences with my solicitor and nearly ended up homeless for the weekend. Lucy was still with us right up until we got our keys.
