GoogleIts only been a week since we picked up our keys but we have never stopped. The staff at D.D.M. made it all a lot easier for us. They where very helpful in all areas and when we had to phone up. Thankyou all for your help. No photos yet though.

GoogleA fab experience from start to finish. All the staff at DDM are friendly and helpful. In particular I think getting accurate and regular communication from your estate agent is critical during the house selling process. Fiona Husband at DDM must be one of the best in the business at doing just that whilst always being kind and caring. Thankyou. Highly recommend.

GoogleTotally utterly unprofessional & disgusting, the way of how they regard tenants when you moved out. Thanks to TDS intervention that we got a partial deposit instead of paying 3 times of our original deposit. This company DO NOT rent houses to people. It rent landlord properties Stay AWAY & AVOID from DDM if you want to get your deposit back.
Sorry to hear you had a negative experience Arinah, unfortunately not every situation can be resolved. Just for a bit of clarity, when we initially 'Let out' a property a full schedule of condition (inventory) will be conducted. When that tenancy comes to an end, the landlord and ourselves expect the property to be returned in a similar condition to when it was originally let out and this inventory will be used for cross reference for damages/cleanliness etc. If a tenant has unfortunately not returned a property in the same condition, then deductions will be sought by the landlord from the initial deposit and we will use the TDS to independently adjudicate, as in your case I can see that they had made these deductions in what is fair for all parties. We take great care in making sure that these properties are returned to our Landlords in a similar condition to when they are let out and always give tenants fair opportunity to rectify these issues before move out so that a full deposit can be returned.

FacebookI’ve just completed my second house purchase using DDM Scunthorpe and this time has been no different to the first; Professional, personable and approachable from start to finish. We dealt with Darryl mostly and were particularly impressed with his customer service skills. Updated weekly, we felt we were always ‘kept in the loop’ and knew where we stood with the purchase. Darryl even contacted us after completion to give send his well wishes. I used a different local agent to sell my property and didn’t hear from them for over a month during the process, and have heard nothing since the sale. If I was ever to move again, I wouldn’t think twice about using DDM. Thanks for a great service.

From Marie coming to value the house at more than what I’d expected, viewings started the day after it went live online and accepted an offer within a week. Shauna communicated all the way through keeping me well informed as to what stage we were at right upto completion. FacebookFollowing the purchase of a property through DDM at the end of March I was asked to review my experience although I wasn’t certain I would as my thoughts of their service are mixed.My experience with DDM began at the first viewing where the agent was clearly disinterested and actually left the tenant to show us around the property. Nevertheless, I ended up putting an offer in on the property which was accepted. At this stage I requested that we arrange a second viewing in a couple of weeks once the searches were back, but seemed to hit a brick wall with this.Anyway, then Coronavirus came along and put us all in lockdown. I explained several times that I was not buying the house without a second viewing and despite waiting over a month and chasing on multiple occasions I still didn’t have a viewing and Seller was getting agitated at me!At this point Zoe took over, she was extremely helpful and I could not fault her service. Naturally there were some obstacles with the Virus but my Solicitors (shout out to BG) managed to negotiate in the end.This is when we found the property in an absolute state. After speaking with my Solicitor we did manage to reclaim some costs from the tenants deposit and Jo in DDM lettings was very quick to respond, explain the whole process and to negotiate a settlement in this respect.The floorplan was incorrect and not all measurements were given. As the property was let by DDM there are naturally some things you would expect such as working smoke alarms, gas safety reports and Electric Reports, none of which were provided by the seller and the electric reports were probably not carried out as the electrics in the property were dangerous. The stop tap in the kitchen leaked everywhere and destroyed the kitchen cabinets and the floor. Athough this is more the Sellers dispute with the lettings team.In these unprecedented times it is only natural that errors occur and there are new ways of working but a lot was left to be desired and I would not choose to use DDM when it comes to reselling the property in the future.
