From initial meeting to completion Reeds Rains were responsive, professional and helpful. When we hit a snag with the solicitors Bekky couldn't have been more helpful in chasing things up and clearing the blockages. Would definitely use them again.PositiveResponsiveness

Fantastic and professional service from everyone at the Scarborough Reeds Rains branch, and a nod to Lydia especially who went out of her way to move things along to meet the needs of my current situation, and another mention for Maria. Couldnt recommend more to anyone considering letting/buying in the local area.

Great branch of Reeds Rains! I would particularly recommend Dan Thomas - my partner and I are looking for a second home in Scarborough and Dan even offered to show us around properties after office opening hours! Very impressed!

Service has been first class, especially from Lauren. I was kept up to date at all times by her, even when she was away from the office, and nothing was too much trouble. Many thanks for all your hard work Lauren, I would have no hesitation in recommending the Scarborough office.

My dealings with Reeds Rains, Lauren especially, could not have been bettered. The patience and understanding that Lauren showed throughout the intended purchase was a credit to her and to the image of your Company. Reeds Rains will certainly be the first place I visit for any future property transactions.

Bekky at Reeds Rains has been brilliant from the day we put our offer in. Always kept us up to date, was extremely helpful if we needed something answering, and put up with our many phone calls and emails! So thank you! James & Amy x

Very few competent members of staff and have a really bad reputation in and around Scarborough in the housing industry. Avoid as a Landlord (ours has stopped using them due to their bad experience) and buckle up if your house is managed by them. Please leave us alone. They also opt'd us in for marketing emails and lost our ID photocopies more than once, this is careless in today's virtual world. Also think it's insane that they talk about clients issues on a Google review site to try and protect themselves. RR are only interested in buying and selling. Tenants are second class citizens.

I’m so happy with Alex Rogers and Shannon at the Scarborough branch, although my purchase hasn’t been successful the efficient and timely contact has been second to none! I will be keeping this Branch and Alex in mind if I am ever looking to purchase again.

All the staff have been a very good help to us at the Scarborough branch of Reeds Rains, but we feel Dan Thomas deserves a special mention. Wow, from the day he came out to value our property nothing has ever too much trouble for him. He even managed to get us a prospective purchaser lined up before we were technically ‘on the market’! Cannot praise his professionalism, expertise, honest advice and general all-round knowledge of all things connected within the property market. I would highly recommend using Reed Raines for buying or selling any property, just ask for Dan!

Liars! I viewed a property in Scarborough (St Helen's Square) on 19/9/14. as advertised by letting agents and Estate Agents Reeds Rains, 16 Aberdeen Walk, Scarborough, North Yorkshire YO11 1XP. However, they are misrepresenting the property, looking at the various websites (Zoopla, Rightmove and Prime Location) upon which the property is listed, there are several photographs showing a pristine and 'newly renovated flat'. This is most certainly not the case. I shall list the problems: broken windows, soiled nappy on carpet, swarms of flies, missing balustrades and skirting board, damaged carpet, broken tiles in bathroom, crayon covering the walls, damp/possible leak, damaged kitchen units- and the stench! It is an outrage Reeds Rains are letting people view this property, when I complained I was told, 'the landlord insist we show it' - nothing short of disgraceful. The property had been listed on Right Move for 84 days, and why I questioned action had not been taken to rectify the issues in nearly 3 months I was lied to by Clarke a worker with Reeds Rains, 'It's just been put back on the site, and they've just moved out' he told me! He was clearly panicking on being confronted and challenged on their lies.
