GoogleHarris Shields were most helpful while I was searching for a new home to rent. They recommend various properties within my budget and had a good selection to suit my needs. All properties which were available were well presented and well looked after. The viewing process was simple and very professional. After a successful application on one particular property I was able to move in within a couple of weeks. The contract process was very straight forward and the reference system was seamlessly processed. All in all the whole team in Scarborough are fantastically helpful and I would highly recommend using Harris Shields to find a new home. If I was a landlord I would also use them to promote and manage any property I owned. A happy tenant makes a happy landlord! Thank you guys!PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

GoogleIf you are a prospective tenant, then look no further when looking for a property to rent or a company to let through. The team here, were a great help to me and my partner and they answered all the questions I had in relation to how long my commute would be from the house to my work. Finally, the process to moving into the property, was very easy and the team got it all done very quickly for myself and my partner.

GoogleAll the team at Harris Shields Scarborough go out of their way to help. They have been very instrumental in the development of my very small property company in North Yorkshire. They have acted for us in both sales as well as purchases and they also manage the rentals we have. If you want a professionall personalised service then they should be on your list. I appreciate their help over these last 5 years and look forward to the future.

GoogleHi Mark and Trish, Really it is not sufficient to merely tick a box to say how much we appreciated your excellent service: the speed with which you marketed the house was astonishing and due in no small part to Mark’s photographic skills as well as his kindness in responding so very swiftly to our request to put the house on the market. From asking Mark to assess the house to moving into another property, sale completed, was approximately six weeks! Obviously, there is good fortune in finding the right buyer so soon, but what is much more than good fortune is the knowledge that through the years, in our experience of buying and selling as well as with your services as rental agents, you have always been there with expertise, good humour and a wonderful network of local contractors. If you recommended someone - and you always seemed to know who might help - we could totally rely on getting prompt attention at very reasonable cost. In our direct business dealings you have always been both swift and comprehensively efficient. The friendliness and helpfulness of your office staff at all times, even when not in a formal business enquiry, has been a large part in returning to UK and to Scarborough and to feeling that this is a very good place to live.

GoogleWe have sold different properties with Harris Shields and during each sale we were kept up to date with viewings, feedback and whenever we had a problem we could ring Harris Shields office and we were always dealt with in a friendly and professional manner. During each sale we have normally had Trish as our point of contact. Nothing is too much trouble for her. During one sale we had an unexpected problem but Trish handled it in a sympathetically way both for us and our purchaser resulting in both vendor and purchaser happy with the outcome. If I have any property to sell Harris Shields would be the agent I would use. Their brochures are really well presented to give your property the best chance of achieving a successful sale.
