I cannot speak highly enough of Colette and David. Our house went on the market the week before the first lockdown so we were selling in very difficult circumstances. There were also some legal hurdles we had to overcome with our sale. Despite all these problems we have received first class service from Polkadot. Polkadot were the agents for the sellers (of the house) we were buying from and so no monies exchanged hands between us and them but you would have never have known it - they were prompt with responses, kept us up to date through the entire process, answered and passed on all our queries and were so lovely and friendly and always helpful. Ignore every pre-conceived negative idea you have of estate agents as this company is polar opposite and when/if we come to sell our house we wouldn't go with anyone else! Great team with excellent service and can do attitude!

If you want an agent who does what they say they will do then go to Polkadot. All of the team are extremely hard working and professional - and they know all about your property as they all visit it to understand exactly what they are selling. They are a great bunch of individuals with a sense of humour when they need it. A can do attitude runs throughout the business, which we found is a definite nesessity in selling particularly through the many stages. They are all very tactful at all times even when you feel like throwing your teddy bear out of the pram. Once our sale had been agreed we were extremely impressed with the follow up service particularly from Jenny and Colette who did everything they could to make sure the exchange happened on the agreed date. There were many obstacles put in their way from other involved parties, which quite frankly drove us up the wall, however they kept their cool and us sane and we exchanged on time. No-Brainer

If you live in Polkadot’s area - choosing them as your agent really is a No-Brainer. David really knows what he is doing. He also negotiated the purchase of our house in Scotland for us. The whole exercise was painless and money-saving! I guess David has hand-picked his staff. This is an effective Team (and I do know what I’m talking about here). The competition? There isn’t any. I was so disenchanted with the reputations of other agents that I initially went with an online company. When that proved ineffective in my location I found the relatively new Polkadot. Professional, Patient and Empathetic

We had a very tough chain, with difficult negotiations that dragged on over 8 months. Polkadot were excellent throughout, fighting our case and never giving up. They were on the end of the phone every instant we needed reassurance, and calmly dealt with our exhaustive queries. They definitely went above and beyond for us- I think a lot of other estate agents would have quit negotiating long before- but Polkadot didn't, and I am delighted to say we moved into our new house in February. A particular mention of the professional, empathetic manner of Dave and the team, that ultimately kept all parties at the negotiating table until the end and made us feel supported throughout the whole saga. One agent even spent a day helping us move in after our removal company had issues on the day of completion!

Avoid.......outright liars, typical old style Estate Agents, tell you what you want to hear until you challenge what they’re telling you then they just put the phone down and refuse to answer it when you call back!! Branch Manager is always unavailable if they exist?! They have zero customer service skills and couldnt give a flying monkeys about being caught out when the lies finally surface. DO NOT recommend in anyway shape or form. Might be cheap to use but the old saying is true you pay peanuts you get monkeys!!

Hands Free, Stress Free Selling with superb Follow-through

Absolutely no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending Polkadot if you are thinking of selling. They professionally drove the whole deal from providing a house staging consultant to get your home in the right shape for sale, through professional photography and marketing - to conducting the viewings and price negotiations. I was presented with 2 fully vetted potential buyers - all I had to do was decide.. There professional service was just so good, I never even met my buyer.. Diligence is a watch word for them - not just up to the sale agreed staged, but all the way through to completion. My suggestion to you is to recognise that it really is worth using an exemplary professional team who sell many houses every month, when compared against your own expertise where you sell/buy only a few times in your life. In my case their negotiating skills lifted the price by tens of thousands of pounds from the first offers. Made real financial sense.

I rarely leave reviews but I can honestly say I would leave 100s of reviews for Polkadot Homes. Colette has been AMAZING in fact just PERFECT - I honestly couldn't put into writing how amazing she has been! I've dealt with several estate agents as I have worked in the property industry for the last 10 years. Colette goes over and above and is always aware that a house move is not just a business transaction but a very personal one as well. We initially had an offer accepted on a property which ended up going no where due to them not being able to find their onward but Colette was very patient with me, kept me updated throughout, was very honest when my 1st buyer started to get fed up of waiting (which I cant blame them at all!). Even after all of that time I had then fallen out of love with the property that we had waited and waited for. Colette completely understood remarketed my property and again sold it within 24 hours!! I trusted Colette with a key to my house and my cat had unfortunately been sick. I would of never expected her to clean this up, as absolutely not her responsibility, but because she had viewings that day she went ahead and tidied this up for me. Again just going above and beyond. The chain that I was involved with had a corporate estate agent dealing with the 3 other chain links and they were absolutely useless! Again Colette continued to provide the professional level of service so much so that a seller in the chain was also in communication with Colette - even though she wasn't acting for this person. (The sellers corporate estate agent was just ignoring her) I would 10000000% recommend Polkadot Homes and Colette I cant say it enough but THANK YOU SO SO MUCH - YOU ARE AMAZING
