Great team with excellent service and can do attitude!

If you want an agent who does what they say they will do then go to Polkadot. All of the team are extremely hard working and professional - and they know all about your property as they all visit it to understand exactly what they are selling. They are a great bunch of individuals with a sense of humour when they need it. A can do attitude runs throughout the business, which we found is a definite nesessity in selling particularly through the many stages. They are all very tactful at all times even when you feel like throwing your teddy bear out of the pram. Once our sale had been agreed we were extremely impressed with the follow up service particularly from Jenny and Colette who did everything they could to make sure the exchange happened on the agreed date. There were many obstacles put in their way from other involved parties, which quite frankly drove us up the wall, however they kept their cool and us sane and we exchanged on time. No-Brainer

If you live in Polkadot’s area - choosing them as your agent really is a No-Brainer. David really knows what he is doing. He also negotiated the purchase of our house in Scotland for us. The whole exercise was painless and money-saving! I guess David has hand-picked his staff. This is an effective Team (and I do know what I’m talking about here). The competition? There isn’t any. I was so disenchanted with the reputations of other agents that I initially went with an online company. When that proved ineffective in my location I found the relatively new Polkadot. Hands Free, Stress Free Selling with superb Follow-through

Absolutely no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending Polkadot if you are thinking of selling. They professionally drove the whole deal from providing a house staging consultant to get your home in the right shape for sale, through professional photography and marketing - to conducting the viewings and price negotiations. I was presented with 2 fully vetted potential buyers - all I had to do was decide.. There professional service was just so good, I never even met my buyer.. Diligence is a watch word for them - not just up to the sale agreed staged, but all the way through to completion. My suggestion to you is to recognise that it really is worth using an exemplary professional team who sell many houses every month, when compared against your own expertise where you sell/buy only a few times in your life. In my case their negotiating skills lifted the price by tens of thousands of pounds from the first offers. Made real financial sense.

Fantastic from start to finish

We received glowing recommendation from friends who’d sold through Polkadot so we invited them to give us a valuation. We warmed to David from the off, and felt he was more enthusiastic and realistic in valuing the property than other local agents. The photographer was great and produced fantastic shots. From the off we had lots of viewings and we accepted an offer within a couple of weeks. From start to completion all the staff were fantastic and kept us informed of progress. Did everything they promised - and more!

Having had experience of several other agents in the past, I was dreading putting my home on the market. But David and his team could not have been more helpful, efficient, supportive and understanding. From the outset they did everything that they said they would - familiarised all the staff with my property, undertook all the viewings, liaised with buyers and solicitors ( and ex-husbands!) so that I didn't have half as much pressure as I expected. If Carling made estate agents.......

We asked Polkadot to sell our house, after meeting David for a valuation and being extremely impressed by both his professionalism and friendly demeanour. I guess we took a chance, as Polkadot were competing with some well established local agents but our faith was justified as our house sold within a few days of going up for sale. While I would like to believe that this was solely down to my superb interior design skills, I am fully aware that it was in no small part due to the thoughtfully presented photographs and skilled marketing by the Polkadot team! They consistently gave us useful and detailed feedback from viewings but more than this, were pro-active in getting the right people through the door. They score massive points for continually striking the right balance between being warm, honest and approachable with a strong sense of business acumen. Fantastic service
