I’ve been renting one of my properties via Intercounty in Sawbridgeworth for a number of years now and the service (and advice) has always been excellent. Long-standing tenants recently moved out and a new tenant was found in a matter of days. We took the opportunity to undertake some maintenance works on the property in the break in tenancy and from the checkout process of the old tenants moving out to the new tenant moving in we were kept updated every step of the way with really clear and transparent communication and updates. Neve, Alex and Olivia are all are amazing, as is everyone else working there. I can’t recommend Intercounty and all the team there enough.

Flat rental

After deciding to rent my flat I saw 3 agents from different companies.I was most impressed with Dan from the initial meeting, he was very thorough, had excellent knowledge of the rental market and great advice for a new landlord.He worked with me to my timeframe and after advertising the flat to rent it was taken 4 days later!I wasn’t aware there was so much to sort out when renting a property, however I can say that working with Dan has made the process as easy as possible for me. Nothing was too much trouble, whether it was a query I had via email or telephone, and always responded the same day. When I was packing he came to me at the flat as it was easier for me.Excellent customer service and I cant recommend Dan highly enough.Many thanks Diane

Professional and extremely helpful Letting Agent

We have been renting our property through Intercounty for two years and as long term tenants we are extremely happy and satisfied with the excellent service we have received through the Bishops Stortford office. Any problems or concerns we had before or during our Rental have been quickly and efficiently resolved and all of the members of Intercounty have been very professional and given great and friendly service.Our personal Property Manager has been a wonderful help at all times and so extremely helpful with anything we have needed assistance with. Intercounty helped me find my first home! Everyone always answered my phone calls and even texted me when convenient when I was a work and couldn’t answer the phone. And questions I had big or small there was always someone there, right from how to pay my bills to setting up insurance for my contents and my self! But a special thank you to Dom and Luke and the other man who’s name I can’t remember at Braintree for their professionalism throughout and of course their constant banter and entertainment making a stressful situation enjoyable and unforgettable! It has been a very good and rewarding experience with Intercounty in finding an excellent home in Stansted Mountfitchet.I had contacted other lettings agents in Bishop Stortford and i have to say i particularly did not have a good experience with few of them. This led to me contacting Intercounty and right from my first call to them until completing all formalities for the Flat that was provided to me......it was a very professional and courteous service added with a personal touch to it all the way.I will like to thank Harry, Amy, George............with special mention to Reece who helped me to find my right home. Very impressed with the efficient and proactive service provided by Intercounty in Old Harlow, particularly Brandon, Matthew and Jason. They went over and above to help me with my sale and purchase, even assisting with my property back home while I was on holiday. When any issues came up (which inevitably happens with any property sale and purchase) they were quick to communicate and keep all parties informed. We have been extremely impressed with Intercounty Bishop’s Stortford, from start to finish. From the first class customer service we received from Meg (when we first walked in last year). This was then followed by excellent service from Helen Mehmet, who worked tirelessly on our behalf by securing our sale and purchase (to which we’re both extremely grateful to her for). We then dealt with Doug Whybrow thereafter, who has been very efficient and professional throughout this process. We are now due to complete on Tuesday. We highly recommend this Estate Agent. They have certainly put any scepticism, that we have had due to past experiences, finally to bed.

An outstanding Estate Agents and so glad we put or Sale through these guys. Brandon and the team were always available to talk to and kept hot on the heels of Solicitors and putting the right amount of pressure on 3rd parties when needed. I would definitely recommend the Bishops Stortford office, the whole team were very helpful & professional with what was a complicated sale. Doug Whybrow was extremely helpful & approachable and it was very reassuring to know that he was always available to help me out with any issues that arose. A big thank you to Doug. I also used the services of the lettings department who were all very friendly & helpful. George was particularly helpful and worked very hard on getting the rental all sorted on what was an extremely tight time schedule. It was a real challenge for him but he did it! Very impressed

The team in Braintree exceeded our expectations ; polite, informative and efficient. In particular the assistance, guidance and support from Nic was beyond any expectation. The age and nature of our property presented some challenges and over some time other agents had tried and failed. Intercounty managed to do what others did not and the change in the quality of viewer, once we switched to Intercounty was quickly apparent, we soon moved to a sale. Proceeding to completion on a listed building however of this age was never going to be an easy process and this turned out to be the case. This is where Intercounty really excelled. Mediating between us and our buyer, providing solutions to awkward problems; providing tradesmen where we could not and through this saving us saving. This is the reason why I would not hesitate to recommend Nic and the Braintree team to anyone.
