Intercounty were excellent when selling our house late in 2018. We switched agents after struggling to get the right sale for a number of months but Rosanna at Intercounty managed to get it sold within a couple of weeks. She was courteous and professional and got the sale done with the minimum of fuss. Would definitely recommend Intercounty as an agent.

She was supportive, kind, respectful, a good communicator, understanding and helpful. l could not have asked anymore of her that she hadn't already tried to do. TrustpilotNo wonder Estate Agents have a bad reputation...
Arranged a viewing of a property in Sawbridgeworth on the Saturday, without hassle, and really liked it. On the Monday we received a phone call from the office, as promised, but we were unavailable and so a message was left. We tried returning the call but coudln't understand who called and the person who answered didn't know and could only take a message. We then chased several times by email and phone, receiving some quite abrupt email responses, until a week later finally got to speak to someone! We exchanged a few more emails and arranged a 2nd viewing a few days later.When we arrived at the suggested date and time, no one was there. We called the office, and were told the agent had just left; then that we wern't in the diary; then that they hadn't confirmed the appt and eventually implying it was our fault because we sent an email after office hours!At that point we'd had enough and hung up!As another review states they are excellent at excuses, not so good on admin or doing right by their customers. We left a note for the home owner letting them know how their house was being handled......

Throughout the process of selling and buying, Intercounty were very helpful. Our property was effectively marketed and we achieved a quick sale at a good price. Sarah stands out, for her prompt and effective assistance to resolve issues that cropped up late on with our purchase, and to see the process through to exchange of contracts when we needed that to happen.

This estate agent in Sawbo can’t value houses for toffee. Put one house on the market 5 bed at £800 and then another one exactly the same for £670.Also another 5 bed which is different on the same development for £954 on Terlings Park. Literally pulling figures out of the sky for quick sales. Useless !!

Any properties we may have had for sale at these prices may have sold subject to contract. GoogleIntercounty have let two cottages for me and each time I was out of the country. Intercounty went beyond the call to give me and my new tenants all the help possible. I can't praise Intercounty enough and if, and when, I need new tenants they will be my first port of call. Thank you all at the Sawbridgeworth office

Nice people to deal with and they were the agents who were first to find us a tenant, but the management fees are the highest percentage we have come across and we are having to chase for them to complete services offered and requested well before check in date, which is complicating matters relating to changeover of utilities.
