We cannot thank King & Chasemore enough, in particular Susie Virgo, for everything they have done in getting us into our dream home. The process was at best shambolic due to other third parties and Susie was relentless in her chasing of everybody. I can confidently say without her, it wouldn’t have happened and the chain would have collapsed. She was always available whenever we needed her, prompt & efficient whilst remaining highly professional. This has been incredibly reassuring throughout what is undeniably a stressful process. Avoid this agency! My letting agent unlawfully broke into my home and changed the locks without my consent, even though I was still in the middle of a fixed-term tenancy and up to date with rent, utilities, and council tax. Disgusting company with absolutely no care for their tenants or their tenants neighbours. Their propery has an ongoing leak and mould problem and they painted over it and let it out to a family with respiratory issues. My husband has had a cough for months, my BABY is on an inhaler. I an living in squalor. The owners should be ashamed too. Absolutely horrible all Of them . Say they will contact you and they lie and lie and they never do. We first dealt with the Saltdean office 6 or so years ago but unfortunately things did not go as well as hoped at the time. Therefore, when we decided to put our house on the market earlier this year we were hesitant to go with King & Chasemore. However, on the basis of a neighbour's experience, and the fact that we've known Susie (who is always great) since first dealing with the office, we decided to go with them this time. And sure enough, they found us a buyer even before photos of our house went online and not only that, as we'd already viewed a property they were marketing which we wanted, we actually agreed the sale and purchase on the same day! Further, with the Saltdean office team's help, we completed the process in 3 months meaning we're in our new house in time for Christmas! I found King and Chasemore to offer a friendly and professional service at all times and Samuel Pattinson, the Manager has been a star in assisting me to sell my late aunt's property in Saltdean. Sam went the extra mile to give assistance when it was needed and has excellent local knowledge, which was very helpful to me as I don't live in the area. I put my property on the market with Saltdean branch. Staff were very professional and proactive in selling my property. I got an offer early January and all appeared to be going smoothly and plan was to move mid April .... until the Pandemic hit us. A lot of downs( not many ups) a bumpy road with extremely high pressure. BUT I was supported throughout by the lovely Susie Virgo. She was always at the end of the phone and her calm nature and professionalism got me through and we had a laugh along the way. We have now exchanged and moving next week. In March 2019 I gave King & Chasemore a real challenge. Following the death of my mother I had to sell her detached bungalow which was in need of substantial renovation and one of the earliest properties built in Saltdean in 1925. The Executive Branch Manager (Susie Virgo) initially attended our first meeting and took the necessary photos and general details. I was very impressed with her marketing of the property. As there was substantial asbestos in the roof I knew it would be a difficult property to sell and would need a cash buyer as mortgage facilities would not be favourable. However she found the right person and I am looking forward to seeing the subsequent redevelopment. Susie Virgo kept me in touch with progress throughout the sale. Before contacting K&C I had spoken to another local agency who gave me a valuation £115k lower than what K&C sold the property for. So ultimately very impressed with K&C's service. Highly recommend. Roland at King and Chasemore Peacehaven deserves to have a personal review! Having just moved into my first flat I was very nervous when I woke to discover a leak from above. A quick call to Roland gave me all the assurance I needed. He quickly and effectively dealt with matter, a plumber and electrician were sent out very quickly and I was kept update with the process, after all had been fixed Roland even called to check everything was as it should be. He is a real asset to to company, he knows his stuff and can get things sorted very quickly. I feel very confident in my home now thanks to such great support. Would highly recommend for first time and any renters to use this company with property management like this .
