Stunning service! I can only say that Matt Orchard and his team have provided the most seamless service with my sale, the speed of responses to emails or telephone calls was unheard of in these often disappointing times, I honestly can't praise the team/company enough. I have felt throughout the sale that I was their only client, the speed they have dealt with buyer's queries was exemplary. There is the famous quote "You get what you pay for " well in this case they were no more costly than other agents (bar one!) I firmly believe that when selling a house you want a sale, the sooner they sell it the more they deserve their commission and in this case 100% deserved, the team were simply brilliant. No one in our Trust thought that Redlynch House would be an 'easy sell', despite the booming market. The general dilapidation of the buildings and grounds were always going to be off-putting to anyone other than those with imagination - and deep pockets! The position was further complicated by having two AST tenants on the estate, as well as a long time service occupant with no paperwork, or contract! The Trustees were not pre-committed to any agent, but following a brief overview of the Agency market, both locally and nationally, we did turn to the Salisbury office of Savills and in the newly arrived James McKillop and Paul Cadge we struck gold! Quickly establishing a sales value of £3,000,000 and agreeing acceptable vendor terms, James and Paul, backed by National Manager Lindsay Cuthill, set to work with enthusiasm and vigour. There were up's and down's along the way and many interactions with lawyers and beneficiaries, but at no time along the 9 month process did the Savills' team flag: constantly hand-holding, encouraging and even cajoling where necessary. After a couple of false dawns and an eventual contract race, a sale of £2,900,000 was achieved and the Trustees, beneficiaries and sitting service tenant were all happy. Quite a result!! However, it is one thing to make your client happy. It is another to have the same effect on your 'punters'. By common accord, all those approached on the shortlist spoke equally highly of the attention, courtesy and diligence that they received from the Savills' Salisbury team. That in itself is an accolade, but I and my co-trustees would have no hesitation in recommending any potential vendor of a residential property (especially one with complications) to think of Savills in Salisbury. They may not thank me for doing so, but first and foremost you will get a knowledgeable and well supported organisation, with the added desire and commitment of James McKillop and Paul Cadge. FROM OUR VERY FIRST MEETING, MATT PROVIDED PROFESSIONAL,GENUINE AND REALISTIC ADVICE REGARDING THE SALE OF OUR PROPERTY, RESULTING IN A BUYER WITHIN A MONTH OR SO, AND FURTHER ASSISTED IN THE SAME MANNER IN OUR PURCHASE OF ANOTHER PROPERTY. My wife Isabelle and I have just bought a house in Donhead St Mary through Savills Salisbury office. It was a probate sale so took much longer, over six months, than an average sale so it was important to maintain momentum. For both us and the Seller. Lack of momentum is usually death to a deal. Savills never let the momentum flag even for a moment. James McKillop and his colleague Olivia always returned our telephone calls, answered emails and arranged access quickly even though their office is currently experiencing unprecedented levels of activity. The house hadn't been maintained for decades and so we needed to organise about six specialist surveys and James and Olivia made sure that they all happened. We paid an exceptional price for a house in such poor condition but James managed to convince us that we were doing the right thing. His words "you're buying in a Grade A location " make us feel a bit better when we contemplate nigh on rebuilding the house. What a negotiator! We are very grateful to James and the team at Savills.

The Savills Salisbury office is a very professional agency. They were willing to engage and advise over a couple of years before we took the property to market. They got the market value of a unique property just about right and were able to bring 2 motivated buyers within the first couple of weeks of marketing, a process that was considered and detailed even redoing the photo shoot to get the best images possible. Savills managed all of the negotiations and were able to maximise the guide price. Once agreed the Savills team liaised with both sets of stakeholders to smoothly get us to ''exchange' and finally completion.
