GoogleI have just purchased a property though bassets. Having previously been interested in a property though another agents but deciding against it due to the arrogance of the estate agent, Nathan from Bassets was like a breath of fresh air. He was professional and friendly throughout. Nothing was too much trouble and he was always at the end of the phone if needed. As a first time buyer and being clueless to the property market, I would absolutely recommend him and Bassets to anybody needing their services.

GoogleFantastic estate agents. We purchased a house recently through Bassets. The estate agent Nathan took the time to answer any queries or questions promptly and was always available at the end of the phone if needed. The house we purchased was vacant and Nathan arranged for us to visit on several occasions prior to the exchange of contracts to make sure we were happy with our potential purchase. Overall, the team are very friendly and provide a brilliant service, would highly recommend!

GoogleTerrible customer service to the point that myself and my partner lost out on a property that Bassets told us we had first reserve on. When trying to pay the holding deposit, Bassets came up with any and every excuse not to give us the payment details until someone else had let the house. Avoid completely at all costs!!!

Dear Stephen, It has come to our attention that your review is a continuation of feedback already submitted by Katie Haynes. This original review was uploaded a number of weeks ago and the contents of this review details why your application was unsuccessful. We would highlight and clarify that you never had the first reserve on the property as your offer was never accepted. This was made clear at the time and why you went on to make an increased offer, which was also declined. We would not accept your holding deposit as your offer had not been accepted. It is very apparent that your second review has been posted as some personal vendetta against Bassets Lettings and would appear vexatious in nature with the additional intent of lowering our online Google rating and to unfairly tarnish our reputation. I think the reasons why the landlord did not accept your offer speak for themselves, we stand by our actions and our advice given to our landlord concerning your application and offer. GoogleLied at every point of the rental, over occupied the property and did not respect my quiet enjoyment. One of there agents let them self’s in my room unannounced. Record every interaction. Assume they are lying to you. Check they have put your deposit in a safe guarding scheme then check it yourself. Change your locks (check on shelter how to do this within the law). Or better yet use anyone else.

GoogleI would recommend this agency to everyone. We inquired after a house to rent as soon as it came on the market knowing how quickly rentals are going at the moment!! Nathan Pearce sent us an email that evening acknowledging our inquiry. An appointment was made for a few days later and thankfully our offer was accepted.
