Great experience with the Gosforth branch. I’d been struggling for almost 6 months with another estate agent to get my flat ready and tenanted. It only took Jennalise and team 2-3 weeks to have the apartment readied and tenanted after taking the keys from the other agent. She was very hands-on, responsive and professional. Thank you so much!

Dear sir/ madamI am writing to you to inform you that I currently live in cubic apartments in Preston. I've been living there for eight months now with myself and my partner my day job i dpund out found that a lad had been squatting in one of the flats he's been letting homeless people into the building and on numerous occasions they been seen selling drugs. Also damaging letterboxes and robbing people's mail. Pictures were put up of males ecr I informed ppm management there room number and police but males still live there day and night it's getting bad my misses is scared I have to walk her every were. Were moving soon but this is not on. I should not have to move because police and building people don't do anything. I'm informing you hopefully something can be done soon .he'd been selling drugs and bridgefords refused to help at all. They were not helpful at all they have a duty of care and didn't care at all just about there money .

Put in an offer on an already vacant flat at the beginning of the week as the property I'm currently in has sold so i need to find somewhere urgently and this fitted the bill perfectly.. Rang them back today to find out why I've not heard anything from them to only find out they still had not submitted my offer to the seller and that they would be doing it today and would get back to me later about the outcome of my offer..surprise surprise i have not heard anything back from them im appalled at their lack of enthusiasm I thought they were ment to be selling properties not sitting on them!! I also mistakenly thought they were a reputable estate agents until I read all the negative reviews on here some with the similar experience I'm currently having with them!!

I have recently moved to Huddersfield from London and Bridgfords was incredible. Sarah has been with me through the whole process and has been really helpful with all my enquiries. Also got back to emails quickly which is great as moving can be stressful. There was a welcoming pack of goodies when I got to the property!! Very satisfied with their customer service.

My wife and I found a property of interest being marketed by the Washington branch. We were in a very strong position regarding our status as we are actually completing on our current property on the 30th and prepared to move into rented to get the right house moving forward. This was pointed out to the representative who took the phone call. We viewed the property and I must say the young lady who came out was very friendly and professional. It was very clear from both the pictures and the live viewing that the property required a lot of work both inside and out to make it liveable. We exercised due diligence and found that the property next door had been on the market in June 2024 for exactly the same price as the one we had interest in but it had been fully modernised, had an extension and fully landscaped garden. We felt a below asking price was in order taking this information into consideration and made contact again with the Washington office. The offer was put forward and we were told as it was 5 minutes to closing they would contact the vendors Monday and be in touch. Monday came and went with no follow up call. Today I rang back in and spoke to the exact person I’d discussed the offer with and he seemed totally un phased he hadn’t made any contact with an update. I explained the rational behind the offer regarding the house next door and he replied ahhh that house is much smaller. When I pointed out we had the original listing in front of us and it was exactly the same he just said oh and moved on. Again we explained the situation and even intimated we may go up a little. He said he would go back to the vendors and call me back. Well would you believe it still no call back. I’m really now not surprised after reading the rest of the reviews on here but I do hope someone of a higher level reads this and maybe educates this chap on the art of selling and negotiating. Right now he’s more sales prevention and a poor representative for front of house sales. We will move on and look elsewhere.

They were nice enough when I wanted to rent a property. Not so nice at the end of my tenancy when they withheld my ENTIRE deposit without providing any breakdown of costs, reasoning and ignored all my requests. I had to make a claim through the My Deposits scheme who eventually recovered most of my deposit back. Company were useless, unhelpful, rude and trying to take advantage of a young girl living by herself. Well you made a bad choice because I got back what was mine, no thanks to you, and will NEVER rent or buy through yourselves again.

Not even worth one star. I am the landlord and I received the worst service I've ever experiences. If you want to be ignored for weeks and lose money, use their service. I was holding off at giving this review hoping that things will improve, but after weeks of chasing my emails were falling on the deaf ears. First of all, accounts either too busy or too incompetent to deal with basic request, not willing to investigate any repair issues charges, the companies they are using to fix the property are doing botched jobs, resulting in hundreds of pounds loses. Sheer irresponsibility and lack of professionalism, unwillingness to help or resolve any problems leaves you humiliated as a customer, I would go quietly if I wasn't paying any money, but since I'm being charged EACH MONTH for the service which I COULD DO MYSELF, I think I deserve to say something! I really hope I can close my account as soon as possible because I'm really done with being neglected. Can I just ask, how hard is it to reply to an email? Be prepared to wait a week, of FOUR in my case. Horrible, caused huge distress and I really hope your management take note of all the negative response EVERYWHERE and do something about it. Lettings agency on the other hand in Swinton on the other hand is lovely and Hannah Smith was particularly help full, than her for that.

Made an offer on a property. Which was accepted. Property was removed from rightmove. Had a survey carried out RICs survey 2. Before even getting the Survey report back. The property was back on rightmove. As Bridgfords driving up cost for there commission on property sales. Blaming cooperate client. Very poor practice stay clear of.

I was tenant for 8 years, problems with communication, leaking roof repaired after 6 months, need it to call every 2 weeks to have an answer that "we will contact landlord, team or anyone else in the next 1 hour". Yeah 6 months water was leaking on my head. The best part is that something like that is with everything. Now I'm waiting for my deposit after when I moved out. There is barely any communication, no confirmation and very bad service even at the end of my tenancy. If you like problems and bad service you can do the business with Bridgfords. If you like good service and nice people you need to look anywhere else.

Lee the mortgage adviser at the Halifax West Yorkshire branch is amazing. I was trying to get my property re-mortgaged and as this was the first time I’d gone through it I was a bit nervous to say the least. The property in question was my dads who had passed away. Lee was brilliant, I did really know what I was doing and I had spoken to many different mortgage advisers. After speaking with them I just through the others just wanted my money but Lee was different. He spent time explaining everything to me and was always there if I needed him. Was hard to get him on the phone but he would email back as soon as he could. He did everything right for me and I highly recommend him. I will be going back to him once my term has come to an end, every time.

Cant recommend Bridgfords Denton enough. Bought through them recently. The team were so helpful throughout. Great communication, nothing was too much trouble. Aldo used their mortgage advisor, Gemma. She was fantastic. Never dealt with a broker like her! She went through the whole process in detail and always on hand to answer any questions I had! Many thanks to Ryan, Stacey, Adam and Gemma. You guys made what could have been a stressful so smooth!

Apalling handling of my mother-in-laws property. Took a massive %age of the rent, did nothing for the money, never communicated, never responded to messages or calls, left us with a squatting tennant for over a year after being serviced notice, never checked the property properly, never followed up on the deposit so we lost that as well. One star is far too much to give them. I suggest you never consider using this company.

They are shocking.I emailed & spoke to them at the middlesbrough branch about a property near 2 weeks ago. on the phone i was told the potential move in date was 8/9/24 They told me they would do a video tour heard nothing so chased them to which they came back with a rubbish excuse the tenant hadnt been in touch so they couldnt get into the propertyI withdrew interestThey are shocking at communication & couldn't run a bath

Trustpilot4th tennant same issues- damp, mould, negligence
I am the forth tennant leaving my current rental property with the same letting agency and landlord due to the same issues. Mold, damp, negligence and conditions quite frankly not fit for living. I'm breaking my tenancy agreement with permission of the landlord, however never expected to be hit with Bridgfords re-housing fee because quite frankly didn't expect bridgfords to take on this property with a now fifth tennant following years of the same issues not fixed. The 95 year old landlord lord is maybe not able to care for this property but I'm not reviewing him right now. There's something really sinister about a company needing capital gain to the degree that they are willing to miss sell and mislead another tennant into this property a fifth time. Please please stay away.Edit- just noticed that they have a new tennant already from a video viewing alone. Pictures posted of the property are from years ago. Next tennant likely spun the same lines as me, "we are so busy with viewings on this property it's so desirable we can't possibly fit you in, take the video viewing and we advise you to go for it within the next 24 hours before it gets snapped up" there have been no physical viewings of this property whilst I have been here. This is miss selling and pressure sell tactics. The next person will likely have had to pay the same heavy holding fee as me, there rent has gone up by £50 and their deposit by £200 from the 7 month's when I came in with minimal work done on the neglected property. This company is predatory.

Chris Parkin was my mortgage broker, really helpful I had been told from another company that I would not be able to get a mortgage, Chris went above and beyond to make it happen. We had issues with the lender taking unnecessary time on some issues Chris chased them everyday and I am now in my lovely new home. I will definitely recommend Chris in the future.
