Dan, a director, came out to value my property. He explained he knew many similar build properties close by and had success with their sales. He gave me some basic figures whilst on site saying he would send over later that day a full report including valuations with and without refurbishment. He would also provide details of historic property sales nearby.

I completed my sale with Waterson's EA in January 2021. All the way through our sale they were extremely professional and responsive to our queries. Their advice was extremely valuable as we hit a few bumps in the road, but their most value asset is their people and just how responsive they are. Dear Watersons..Thank you, Thank you so much. Bereavement is a pivotal moment in your life, we will all be subjected to, at some time and the emotions it brings are amongst the most powerful you’ll endure. Having to take control whilst feeling distanced from life seems impossible and it becomes very easy to let things and people take advantage of you. I had to sell my mothers home recently and trawl through belongings not really knowing how to process my future plans. Thankfully I found Watersons Estate Agents who, led by a caring, professional team, helped me immeasurably by taking great care of a process which was daunting to me. The whole problem just melted away into their very capable hands, I was constantly advised and pointed towards an incredibly speedy sale. I had been promised the process would be swift and uncomplicated and to say they over delivered is a complete understatement. I was left to grieve whilst the house was sold on my behalf, to a deserving buyer and could not be happier with the outcome for all involved. Helen McGrogan who was mostly responsible for my experience, and my supportive words here, shocked me constantly with the level of empathy she showed me, Helen copied me into e-mails to and from buyers and solicitors which clearly explained how things where developing and her calls championed my journey, each question I had was answered immediately, moments after my contact Helen was there, confident and correct, I shall never forget her help and am actually looking forward to the buying process of my new home afforded by the money I received, suffice to say Watersons have promised the same level of attention here too and I believe them, I trust this company and would recommend them to anyone I love or admire. We spoke to all high street agencies before choosing Watersons for their excellent knowledge of the local market as well as their kind & professional approach. Their rate on selling properties like ours (3 bedroom house) is very good and they are also open on Sundays which was a big selling point for us. We dealt mostly with Helen who is the kindest, most helpful and professional person we could have hoped for. Nothing was too much trouble and we were always kept informed of the progress of our sale - we never had to chase for anything. In case Helen happened to be out of the office, Jonathan, Sophie or Daniel were on hand and everyone was up to speed with the current progress. In short, 10/10 would use again! Thanks Watersons!

I had been looking in the area for some time and Watersons were always extremely helpful whenever I dealt with them about viewings and offers. When it came to our purchase, this involved a chain and tight timeframe, but it all came together without a hitch. Currently mid chain and unfortunately Watersons are at the top. We should’ve all competed and exchanged on this months ago. Theres been no communication and we’re pushing for exchange only to find out the house at the top is only just having its survey done. The surveyor has been trying to get in for 2 months (allegedly) but due to illness it has not been achievable. This was not communicated and everyone’s stood around. I’m now being forced into moving a lot later than planned and on a Monday as it suits their seller and no one else in the chain due to “work commitments” Incredibly frustrating all around for the lower part of the chain where the top can do as they please and we should be grateful for it. Poor communications all around. I appreciate house moves are stressful but waiting over 2 months for a simple survey to be completed is appalling. The agent should be assisting to get this over the line or atleast inform the chain.

We chose Watersons because they had sold houses on our street and they all sold quickly. We downsized after living in our current house 27 years so it was a big deal for us to use someone with a great reputation. From beginning to end we received great service, the office did all the viewings and supported all the chasing as typically happens when solicitors drag their feet. Helen and the team in the Sale office were brilliant and caring we have even had a post sale call to ask how we are settling in. As a first time buyer I was anxious and uncertain about the house buying process but the team were extremely pro-active in providing me with much appreciated regular progress updates. My wife and I bought a property house Watersons in Sale and completed at the end of March. It must be said that from day one of booking a viewing they were excellent; giving up to date information, calling back for appointments and being knowledgeable and very well presented (something I think is lost on the 'modern day' Estate Agent). After making an offer, which was professionally dealt with, we were communicated with well and were fortunate to have our offer accepted. We then dealt predominantly with Helen, who was brilliant. She was friendly, honest, contactable and most important of all, she treated us with respect, which is not always the case as the buyer isn't the paying client. Helen also recommended an excellent solicitor, who, alongside Watersons, was able to get us completed in just under 6 weeks. So impressed with Watersons! From a selling point of view, we received a realistic valuation of our property, pro-active marketing, professional viewings, prompt feedback from viewers, and honest, open discussions about what we needed to do to improve our chances of selling. From a buying point of view, we received weekly (if not more!) emailed updates on the progress of our purchase, and Helen was always available at the end of the phone for advice and reassurance. She liaised constantly with the buyers, sellers and solicitors to keep everyone in the loop and keep things moving. Above this professionalism, she was kind, concerned and caring when things weren't going quite to plan. Would not hesitate to use Watersons again and would recommend them every time, I had no idea before this how involved they are end to end.
