We have just exchanged on our house sale and purchase and used Watersons as our estate agents. Huge thanks in particular to Bev who was extremely responsive to emails and available when needed to discuss any issues as they arose. Bev was proactive in trying to sort issues and was often in communication with the rest of the chain to try and move matters along. It wasn't an easy process and without Bev's assistance I'm not sure it would have all gone through. Huge thanks for all of your help!

Anonymous for privacy reasons. Whilst the company are, presumably, good at what they do, their conduct towards me after a recent interview was less than professional. Natalie and Peter were both lovely through email and throughout the interview process. They responded promptly, acted professionally and painted an excellent impression for the business. Following my interview with Peter, I was told that I would hear back 'soon'. Despite repeated attempts to get in touch with Natalie in the weeks that followed, they went radio silent and presumably went with someone else for the role. This was totally understandable, and I got the impression that the role wasn't really tenable long-term anyway, but a little communication wouldn't have gone amiss! Not a great impression, although I suppose it is easy to ignore people that you know you won't need to deal with again.

Very dishonest and unscrupulous people

Very dishonest and unscrupulous people. They offered me a property at the time, and they asked me for the funds. Since I have some balance in my account and am also selling my current house, he said they would sell my house at a rate of 2.5 per cent. Initially, they emailed me to say my offer was accepted. They then tried to pressure me into selling my property through them. When I used another agent offering 1 per cent, they became angry and emailed me saying the vendor was not satisfied and had accepted another offer which was very unprofessional. I will definitely never use them again and always advise others to avoid them. They had already agreed to sell me the property and just because I used another agent to sell my property they accepted another offer despite already agreeing to sell to me. Absolutely unprofessional and ridiculous company. Never using this terrible company again.

Really great service from Waterson's, in particular from the lovely Wendy! My partner and I had really struggled to find a property to rent, but Wendy and the team were so helpful and made it possible for us. Communication was smooth throughout and we couldn't be happier with our new home. The maintenance team have also been really responsive, which is a breath of fresh air when renting. Farah has dealt with any issues we've had in a timely manner. Highly recommend Watersons- thank you!! :)

Knowingly gave us false information about a lease in the hope that we would be drawn in to use them as our agent. Incredibly poor practice. Wasted our time and also a lot of our money - only found out in time because we did our own due diligence way ahead of time.

Waterson's was the estate agent our seller used, our process was very long and drawn out and we felt that they just went above and beyond, where our own estate agent was sometimes a bit slow, Helen was always extremely responsive and had a very personable approach. When it came down to the wire with exchanging contracts on 5 properties, it was Waterson's who constantly checked in with all parties and solicitors and ensured that completion actually went ahead. We bought our first house 7 years ago with Watersons and the process was very smooth. Fast forward to 2024 and we decided to once again use Watersons as our estate agent to sell the same property. The process was as smooth as ever with Helen and team looking after us. House buy and selling is never a stress-free process but the folks at Watersons went above and beyond to make the process as easy as possible, communicating with all parties involved to ensure that completion took place. In the end, we got above asking price for our property and completed in a good timeframe. This wouldn't have been possible without the vigilance demonstrated by Watersons IMO.
