Very good when dealing with renting out a property. Great, fast communications, friendly service. However, managing the property is below par. I have to chase up things and still waiting for a contractor re heating in the freezing temperatures.

We were delighted with Gascoigne Halman’s service, when buying a property through them. They always went over and above. In fact I think our purchase might have fallen through but they kept it all on the rails. We will sell our house with them if we ever move. Dominic is fantastic. He always knew everything about the chain, and did loads to keep it all moving forward.

GoogleDan Mitchell was our advisor and he was a breath of fresh air in such a tough market. Following a previous sale falling through we were quite nervous about starting the process again. He was always very helpful and available when we had questions or not getting responses from solicitors in the chain. Would highly recommend Dan and his colleagues!

Very disappointed with customer service. Found the staff to be really unhelpful. As a cash buyer had been keen to purchase a property for my daughter and disappointed to learn the property we had secured was taken off the market. Tried to found out why and if there were any other similar properties available through the branch and got absoutley no help from them. Sent a polite message to the manager with honest feedback and requested that he give me a quick call to discuss - 2 weeks later and havent heard back from him. Will now never use Gasgoigne Halman again and recomend other agents who have a little more time and respect for their customers

GoogleSince beginning the process of selling our mother's house, the service I have received from Gascoigne Halman has been excellent. After our initial meeting, I was impressed by Andrew's enthusiasm, interest, and clear knowledge of the locality of my mum's house, along side a sympathetic understanding that comes with a probate sale. Throughout all the viewings, I was always updated by staff and Andrew provided excellent advice and guidance throughout. Equally, I cannot speak too highly of Julie the Sales Manager, who, through what became a rather lengthy and stressful journey to exchange, always responded quickly to emails, called me regularly, and showed a pro-active, caring and very helpful approach throughout. Anyone selling in Sale should use Gascoigne Halman!

GoogleWe have sold three times through Gascoigne Halman and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Our latest sale was handled brilliantly from start to finish. We were a little nervous about getting the right quality of viewers as our property was listed at the higher end of the local market. However, all the right questions were asked and only serious buyers were booked appointments. In no time at all we had a sale secured at a price we were very happy with. Andrew visited to do the valuation and talked us through everything market related. Hannah took brilliant pictures to advertise the house perfectly and Julie the office manager navigated us through the process up to completion. Overall we had excellent service from all the staff at the Sale branch and pass on our thanks to all.

GoogleIn selling our family bungalow, we appointed Gascoigne Halman in Sale as our agents; we could not have been happier with the service that we received, they are a class act. Whoever we spoke with (Andrew, Hannah, Julie, Annie, Zoe, Tom, Dan, Vanessa) they knew who we were, they knew about the bungalow, they were able to give personalised feedback on viewings etc; each team member was very professional and genuinely cared about selling our property. After we accepted an offer, we were in the incredibly talented hands of Julie and Annie; their guidance through the latter stages helped us to maximise upon the final agreed sales price. If you want an exceptional service and if you want to maximise upon the sales price that you will obtain in selling your property - then appoint Gascoigne Halman in Sale.

the lettings division are very poor, they are very quick at taking your money, but when something goes wrong they take an eterinty to return or respond to emails or telephone calls. Once you have vacated you cant get your secured dposit back, again the communication process and customer service is no existant.

GoogleI recently sold my house in Sale with Gascoigne Halman's Sale Office. From start to finish I had excellent service from the branch. They were pleasant to deal with, enthusiastic about the house and this was transferred to prospective buyers because they found many good quality, serious purchasers and their sales and negotiating skills were first class. I am grateful to them.

GoogleSelling a house is stressful and I didn’t know where to start with it all. They had my house on the web within under a week of coming to quote and carried out 30 plus viewings. Once a buyer was selected the team kept in touch with me regularly to ensure it all ran smoothly. The Sale team were fantastic and I can not recommend them enough. Thanks again to the whole team.

Terrible experience with this company. Had to fight for my deposit which they made unnecessarily difficult. They supported a landlord who said the property was uninhabitable when the independent check out report confirmed as 'good'. 6 months to get deposit back from TDS who awarded us £2,500 of the deposit and the landlord £100 after he tried to claim for £4500! Would never use this company again, avoid!

I wish I could give this letting agency zero stars. They have completely breached our contract and shown a total lack of professionalism. Upon moving in, the house was absolutely filthy, with rubbish in back garden. The state of the property was uninhabitable, clearly, no cleaning had been done. On top of that, broken window and door glass was shattered, posing a serious safety risk.
