GoogleAlthough we didn’t actually buy a property with Intercounty Saffron Walden, We were very happy with the service we received. Olivia came to show us the house at very short notice , she was very personable and informative, she went out of her way to find answers to several questions we had. I would definitely be happy to use this company again and recommend

As a (slightly needy!) first time buyer, he's been really patient and accommodating, and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable in making my decision in buying my first home. A very professional estate agents who have helped us through at a journey through renting. The team are extremely professional polite and courteous. Nice people to deal with and they were the agents who were first to find us a tenant, but the management fees are the highest percentage we have come across and we are having to chase for them to complete services offered and requested well before check in date, which is complicating matters relating to changeover of utilities.

As more legislation appears around tenancy agreements and legal duties for landlords Intercounty's expertise has been invaluable. As a landlord letting a property through this company they charge you for unnecessary services without seeking approval and then have the audacity to take the money from your rent without your agreement. They certainly do not have your best interests in mind, just how to make more money out of you and increase their own profits at your expense

Estate agents are ok, good communication.Lettings - as a landlord I wouldn’t bother paying the extra to have them check your property as not convinced they actually do by the way mine was left in, trying to get some deposit back for cleaning and repairs was stressful, very much on the tenants side and not the landlords!!

Thank you for feedback Victoria, it enables us to continually review what we do. Certainly it is frustrating if a property is not returned how we as agents and yourself as a landlord would have wished, however this is the purpose of a third party checkout and I understand it was noted within this report. I believe at this point our property management team were able to obtain quotes, agree deductions with the minimum of fuss from the vacating tenant and get a prompt payment made.
