As a tenant, it is fair to remember that these agencies only really work for landlords. The agency took care of us during our tenancy, but as soon as it ends, the tone and atmosphere completely shifts. And all they do is to try and get as much money as possible off your deposit (especially landlord from the church) so beware! Living in London for over a decade the only two times I had issues with my landlords are from Pinner/Harrow area.... Absolutely shameful!!.... I wish I knew this before renting in this area, so People be careful and take literally photos and evidence of EVERYTHING or you'll see your money being stolen from these guys...

Lawrence Rand have been an outstanding partner work with. From the moment we left left them with the keys they were incredibly proactive in securing the right tenant for our property. In just over a week it is now occupied and we are absolutely delighted. An incredible turnaround time when you consider the property had to be marketed, viewed by prospective tenants and all associated paperwork had to completed. A special mention for Mandeep Stewart who's service was excellent. Mandeep was incredibly proactive and kept us regularly updated on all viewings and there outcomes. I have had a couple of dealings with Lawrence Rand now. First one was back in 2012 while buying my first home in Ruislip and the second one was more recently when I needed a local estate agent who really knew the market to rent out the same home. It was great experience on both experience. For my rental property, Mandeep Stewart was amazing right from the first communication to arranging viewings and securing the right tenants and rent for the property. Others in the team, namely Glenda and Roisin have been fabulous and very professional too. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Lawrence for your buying/selling or rental/tenancy requirements.

I have had the pleasure of dealing with Lawrence Rand for many years, most recently when I bought and sold through them in April 2017. Peter Lawrence is the most trustworthy estate agent I have had the pleasure to meet. He is a true professional, as are his team who cannot do enough for you. I also had the pleasure of dealing with Glenda Hall who's patience, reassurance and excellent work ethic helped to keep me calm and focused throughout the whole process. The next time I plan to move I would not hesitate to use Lawrence Rand and would highly recommend them to everyone I know. Edited in response: I understand that buyers must be financially checked to ensure sales don’t fall through. However, at the time I was asked to provide all of my financial information, I had not yet made an offer on the property; I was interested in viewing it. I don’t believe it’s appropriate to divulge all of my financial information to you prior to even viewing the house. As mentioned, my mortgage provider could have confirmed that I had a Decision in Principle prior to viewing, and I could have provided my financial information along with my offer, if I decided to make one. My main issue was that when I explained this to the agent, I was asked if they could speak to my partner who they suggested would be better placed to discuss finances. I had not even mentioned having a partner. It felt heavily implied to me that the estate agent felt that, as a woman, I was not the right person to speak to about financial matters and that my male partner would be more knowledgeable about our finances. I highly doubt my male partner would have been asked the same question if he’d made the call. It is not good enough to say that being sexist wasn’t your intention, or that you’re sorry I “feel this way”. Asking to speak to a woman’s partner about financial matters - especially when her partner isn’t even part of the conversation - is misogynistic. I think the agent involved would benefit from unconscious bias training to avoid alienating half the population who, shockingly, are capable of earning money and buying property in the 21st century! I have spoken to many estate agents over the last few months, and none have been as misogynistic, condescending, and off-putting as Lawrence Rand.

Our dealings with Lawrence Rand were very professional and our thanks and appreciation to Harry Tibbey for his assistance and for keeping us up to date at all times during the process. We highly recommend Lawrence Rand Ruislip. Our only issue was dealing with Good Lord - the number of nuisance calls and junk mail increased since dealing with them. They also set up utility services for us without our permission leaving us now with double accounts to try to sort out. It's a shame they marred an otherwise excellent service.
