We were very impressed with the service provided by Ian who was acting on behalf of the sellers of the property we recently purchased. We would particularly note Ian's pro activity in ensuring the transaction kept moving, going above and beyond what would be expected from the buyers agent, for example offering advice where the sale of our own house stalled at times. He made time for several viewings of the house we purchased which of course helped to with our decision to proceed. He was always pleasant and extremely responsive. Recently I've had the pleasure of selling my house - yes it was a pleasure - nice and easy and the main contributors to that was Philippa from Horts. Horts did a great job with my sale and my purchase and were always responsive to all my calls and emails. Denise was always on top of the chain details chasing the solicitors and other agents and Philippa always knew what was going on. The other guys there also were very good and were well prepared for viewings. I've moved a few times and this has been the easiest so far and that was during a global pandemic. The team were brilliant with regard to both transactions. Philippa Morgan was outstanding, answering emails even very late into the evening and resolving any questions we had. The experience I had with Horts was so good that I opted out of selling with 'Purple Bricks.' I put all of my trust in Horts just because of the way they ALL 'presented.' To anybody, 'first impressions' is so imprtant. They were all sharply dressed right down to polished shoes, Knowledgable, kind, attending to every need and detail, helpful, on the ball as to where we were in the selling of my property and the buying the house of my dreams. Ian Smith represented me, and I found him to be to be all of the above but he also gave the personal touch by really 'doing the journey ' with me, such is his care and attention to me as the seller. (He is hilarious too!!) After the whole experience from the beginning to the closure, I now consider him my friend. Ian's 30's in this business really shows and because of him I would recommend Horts to everybody I know that wants to sell their property. The other thing I love about Horts is that they have Denise Webb who is job is the full time 'follow up.' She just keeps it all flowing and moving, you ain't got a prayer with Denise! Absolutely great. So thank you Ian, Denise and Horts. Horts of Rugby's signature tune should be 'Sharp dressed Man' by ZZ top. Bloody excellent.
