GoogleJust called up with a rental inquiry. I think this agency is terribly nosy and perhaps a little pretentious. They didn't have a flat that accepted pets and suggested I register for future possibilities, good. However, to register they were already asking for details of my employment and wanted to know my income.

I’m sorry to hear that you feel our contact has been unsuitable to your property needs and we appreciate the honesty of your response. When a potential applicant calls into the office we do have a chat about income so they can explain if there are any financial issues. We do advise that if there is some adverse credit, the landlord may agree for the tenant to pay 6 months in advance. Also if they don’t earn the required amount, the Landlord may proceed with a guarantor. Our landlords are more likely to proceed with a tenant if there are aware of their financial circumstances at the beginning, if adverse information is found by our referencing procedure it is more likely to be declined by the Landlord.
