Communication is inconsistent and inaccurate. Before moving into my house I was assured the fireplace worked and once I'd moved in I was told it was 'purely aesthetic', though nobody could ever explain why, as it was clearly a real fireplace and had soot from previous use. When I reported various issues, such as a broken blind and damp on the walls, I had to send messages over and over again and mostly I didn't even get responses but when I did, nothing was done. When my shower broke it took two weeks to send someone to do a five minute job fixing a burnt wire. I've been in the house eleven months and still don't have a working blind on the window despite reporting it repeatedly. The person I was told to contact actually left their job at one point and nobody took over their caseload and no out of office was on their inbox so I simply got no replies to my emails for months. It's exhausting and stressful trying to communicate with anyone.

GoogleWell, where do I start? If I could leave no stars at all that would suit us better! From the start of our purchasing journey it has been a shambles! By the way, we are 6 months into our purchase, with no chain. We were supposed to complete yesterday...but down to the staff abilities at Rochdale it did not complete. We have had no updates, no returned phone calls as promised. The office is run by staff with little customer service skills, bad manners and a basic lack of interest. We had removal vans waiting all day yesterday and workmen on hand for this weekend, i had arranged for furniture to be delivered to our new property for today. All had to be cancelled and obviously quids out of pocket. Its back on hold yet again. If the sale does not complete by tuesday we have decided to pull out of the purchase. I will update if and when we eventually get through to actually purchasing this property. What a waste of 6 months!! Stay away from this company is my advice

GoogleI write to thank the staff of R&D who helped us throughout the renting process. Carmel Eveleigh, the Letting Negotiator has helped facilitating us to reach the rental agreement with the landlord and her colleague Muz helped with handing over the keys and showing us the property condition when when move. Sonia Hussain, the portfolio manager also helped us to resolve the alarm problem and relate maintenance/repair issues to the landlord in a very prompt and efficient manner. They are all very polite and helpful.

GoogleRyder & Dutton, Rochdale branch have successfully completed a house sale on my behalf. The whole process took only 8 weeks and has been managed with great professionalism and efficency. The communication from their offices has been second to none and any questions I had were answered fully and quickly. I would highly recommend Ryder & Dutton to anybody looking for a reliable and local Estate agents. Special thanks must go to Kris Street and Nida Qayyum for managing the sale so professionally, a pleasure to deal with them and the rest of their team.
