We’ve sold & bought through Ryder & Dutton, the service we’ve received has been excellent from the initial valuation of our old home to completion of the purchase of our new one. We cannot praise Catherine Salisbury, our Move Manager highly enough. Catherine has been brilliant throughout the process and helped to keep everything on track, even when the lengthy chain we were in proved to be very difficult. Catherine kept us fully updated through the whole process and to be absolutely honest had it not been for Catherine’s contact and assistance, we would have withdrawn from the sale/purchase. Thank you Catherine for helping to keep us sane!

Excellent all round no need to look at other estate agents

Catherine did an absolutely brilliant job of getting our house sold, we were guided through the process and her idea of doing an open day got us at least 5 offers on the table, we were delighted. Kia then picked up the reigns and did an excellent job of getting us to completion which happened today , I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. I had a fantastic experience with Naveen when selling my house. From start to finish, she was professional, friendly and incredibly helpful. Naveen kept me updated throughout the whole process, always responded quickly to any questions, and made what could have been a stressful experience feel much easier. The initial valuation was much too high…

The initial valuation was much too high and despite my reservations I was convinced by the agent that this was correct. This meant the sale took much longer than needed and we had to reduce the asking price and then subsequently accept a much lower offer. Once the offer was accepted the Move Manager Catherine Salisbury was very helpful and reassuring, keeping me updated on progress and chasing solicitors.

The whole process from valuation up until completion has been so easy with Ryder & Dutton. Naveen has been our contact and has been fantastic on pushing through the sale of our house. There has been some difficulties along the way however Naveen has remained professional, pushed and chased for us as much as possible. It's been a different one for Naveen as deadlines have been tighter than a usual sale however throughout the process we've been confident that Naveen has been on the case, I didn't actually realise how much work estate agents do before selling this house! She is an asset to the team and definitely deserves some recognition for all her hard work.

Super helpful

As first time buyers we found Ryder and Dutton super helpful from the very start of the process. From originally arranging viewings to helping with the steps of placing and offer and securing a mortgage. We have dealt with Lacey throughout and she has been so helpful and efficient with everything, chasing solicitors, sellers and answering any questions we have. We would definitely recommend especially as a first time buyer.

I was interested in a house being…

I was interested in a house being advertised by Ryder & Dutton in Rochdale. Their manager Tom Prince was a like a bully. He wouldn't let me talk to his staff Naveen who was corresponding with me on the email. Tom refused to accept any offers from me on the house and directed his staff the same. I ended up getting my offer accepted and buying the house through other channels. White goods were included in the price but inspite of microwave oven being in the list, conveniently went missing. Bad service

Conveyancer and Agent Relationships can speed a transaction

As a Conveyancer I find that the relationship between estate agent and legal representatives can massively impact the speed and stress level of a transaction. Having recently concluded a transaction with Ada Grundy as the nominated sales progressor, I am even more convinced this is the case. Ada was beyond helpful, always willing to help with any chasing or liaising directly between buyer and seller (which as a Conveyancer I'm not allowed to do). She was funny and kind and understanding. We recently completed the sale of the family home (our family has owned the property since the 1960's) and used Ryder & Dutton in Heywood to handle the sale. We did originally look around at local estate agents but with Ryder & Dutton's experience and reputation we decided to put the sale in their hands. From start to finish everyone we have dealt with at Ryder & Dutton has been helpful, pleasant and throughly professional. I feel like we have had contact with quite a few Ryder & Dutton colleagues during the process and each one of them has been a pleasure to deal with. I wouldn't want to miss anyone out so I won't do names but Jenna and all her colleagues in the office have all been great to deal with. I would also single out Catherine Salisbury who was our nominated Move Manager for particular mention. She has been totally professional and helpful all through the process. She has kept us informed - whether by telephone or email - all along and is always very positive and helpful. Friendly & supportive service

I used Ryder & Dutton to sell my house. Estate agents have really upped their game 26 years on from my last house move! I had a dedicated move manager for each step of the process, firstly Michaela who managed the sale & secondly Veda who kept everyone up to speed, liaising with solicitors and kept things on track. Both ladies were very approachable and friendly, supportive and genuinely interested in the whole process. They were also very prompt in answering calls & emails. Altogether it was a super service from all the team.
