I sold my house with Ryder & Dutton earlier this year and had a great experience from start to finish. I got a realistic valuation, a detailed listing which showcased the property really well with beautiful photographs. I secured a really good offer and was kept up to date throughout the sale process with regular, personal emails. I felt comfortable to reach out to my case handler, Geraldine, with any questions - she was always very friendly and prompt. Thanks Geraldine and all the team involved.

Positive points: Branch Manager was very helpful during initial process, and guided me very well and house went up on sale fairly easily and quickly. The drawing of contract was easy.Negative points: Once house was sold, Lack of communication, I wasn’t kept up to date, I had to do lots of chasing around and even with that I would get redundant answers. Any information I was seeking from seller where agent has to act as a bridge, it was almost impossible asking them for help. Staff not very helpful. Based on this I think they are overpriced for services they give. Will I recommend R&D? No!

Lisa Royle was responsible for ensuring, eventually, that the property was sold. There were a number of issues with intending purchaser's but Lisa maintained a positive and helpful approach throughout.I was kept fully informed of matters throughout.The property was put on the market in December 2023 at a somewhat optimistic value and took about 10 months to eventually sell. Lisa was involved throughout to bring about the sale.

Helpful, Efficient, Friendly and Proactive

Renting my house was easy and quick with the help of Rachael Howard-Cofield, Ellouise Dagnall and Joshua Albanese. Rachael was extremely helpful and always kept me updated throughout the process. Rachael would always get back to me within an hour of my email and helped move the process along very quickly. She was always very polite and friendly and was a pleasure to talk to. Ellousie was very efficient when sending over our contracts making sure everything was done as quicky as possible for us. Josh was very friendly when showing us around the house and when giving us the keys he took his time to show us where all the metres are and other useful information etc. Josh also did our inventories which were very detailed. I would highly recommend using Ryder and Dutton, all of the staff that helped us were extremely reliable and friendly. These staff members are a credit to the company!

Appalling service!

Appalling service!This company should be shut down.Booked a viewing nearly 3 weeks ago was told the 2nd March was the earliest they could do. No available staff which I questioned on two further phone calls.Been told today the property is sold even though I had been told only a week ago no other viewings have taken place or are booked we will be next to view.To then be told someone viewed 4 days after we enquired.To then check and see the property was updated as sold on right move days ago, so another lie told today about when the offer was made.Third time this has happened across other ryder and dutton offices with other viewings over the past 2 yrs Blatantly they are deciding who can and can not buy the houses they list. Please if you are a seller use any other company I will refuse now to ever view a property with this company and will be reporting them there conduct is not legal or professional

We recently sold my parent’s house and completed the sale yesterday . We can’t thank Lindsey Power enough for her kindness and professionalism. Throughout the sale process we have felt that all queries have been dealt with in a timely manner and we have relied on Lindsey to guide us through the sale process . As a family we were keen not to sell what had been a happy family home for 60 years to investors and hopefully with Lindsey’s help we have achieved that . I would have no Hesitation in recommending Ryder and Dutton due to their guidance and excellent marketing we had a great deal of interest in the property. Amazing customer service from start to finish! We dealt with Matthew and he was outstanding. Unfortunately our buyers solicitors were rubbish, causing everything to move at a glacial pace, but Matthew made sure that everyone was kept up to date, and the right people were chased! Can not thank the team enough! Worth every single penny, they definitely took a lot of the stress out of an already stressful situation!
