GoogleI am not normally one to put strong negative reviews on someone’s business as it’s someone’s living which can be affected but given the catalogue of mistakes and poor service from keystone estate agents I can’t simply ignore it and not warn others of their practices. When you first move in they give you a big professional looking folder filled with letters they have sent to the utility companies etc and a report of property condition. To say their scores are generous is an understatement, the walls had been white washed with very diluted white emulsion and were in no way decorated to a professional standard as they say so we had to redecorate the house before we moved in. They have one of their staff come every 6 months to check that you are looking after the property which is fine but you raise issues with the property with them you are told they will speak to the landlord and get back to you which never happens. We had a issue with a non working toilet bearing in mind it’s the only toilet in the property and it took 3 calls to keystones just to get them to pass the message to the landlord. We were left with unsafe gas piping which failed its annual safety check and this issue was swept under the carpet. In the end we stopped reporting issues and fixed things for our selves as at least that way I knew it would be done. When you give your notice they become incredibly pressuring about allowing viewings and refer you to clauses in the agreement even though their is a global pandemic on and local lockdown regulations stipulate no one other than the people you live with can enter your property. We asked them regarding the final rent payment as we were ending our tenancy part way through a rent cycle which a figure was told to us which when I looked over the numbers it couldn’t possibly be that figure so another call was made to them and I was told the accountant hadn’t left notes and they could work it out so to call on Saturday. I did call on the Saturday and was told by the accountant he had made a mistake and it was £10 less which was still wrong so I ended up sitting them down with a calculator to work out the correct figure which is concerning as many people wouldn’t of been able to work it out for themselves so would be unfairly charged. On the final inspection an incredibly rude and arrogant man came and expect us to have fully redecorated the property to get the deposit back despite the fact we had fully painted the property and when told we had pictures of the conditions we moved into and fair wear and tear needed to be taken into consideration. The staff in the branch are incredibly arrogant and speak to you in a condescending fashion. We always were respectful towards them and kept up with the terms and conditions on our side but unfortunately they believe that they are superior to you and treat you like dirt they have just stepped in. My advise to anyone who sees this advert is to expect no issues to be resolved and to be treated like rubbish by keystone estate agents.NegativeProfessionalism

GoogleAs a new tenant (due to my landlord switching agents on 4th June 2020) so far, I am unimpressed.
Keystone made no effort to contact me following the change over. Indeed, I had to email them to ask for confirmation that they were the new agents.
The rent due on the 5th of June 2020 was paid to the previous agent as no bank details etc had been provided by Keystone as the new agent.
My deposit was transferred to Keystone on 17th July 2020. On 20th July 2020 the DPS advised that they are still waiting for it.
Having checked the reference number that Keystone provided for my deposit with the DPS on 14th August 2020 they state that they have STILL not received it.
Keystone promised a contract. I’m still waiting for it.
An ‘interim inspection’ was undertaken by Seyed of Keystone on 24th June 2020. No PPE was worn even though it was requested by myself due to the Covid-19 virus and promised by Hannan (Keystone).
A 7 month old issue regarding damp and mould in the second bedroom was reported to Keystone who promised to deal with it and is still waiting to be addressed.
Viewings of the house, which is now on the market, I refused due to the virus and the stated requirement that in the first instance they should be virtual. The response from Seyed (Keystone) was to phone me and bully me. His tone and language were rude, arrogant, disrespectful and completely unprofessional to the point where I was not prepared to listen to him anymore and put down the phone. He called back. I ignored it. He called again. I ignored it. He called again and I unplugged the phone.
You get what you pay for.

Today I called again and was told viewing had already taken place and they had called me and emailed me. Checked all my emails and NOTHING from them and NO missed calls from them either. I currently have a property up for sale with a reputable estate agent.
Out of the blue close to 9pm I had messages to my mobile and Facebook from a member of the Keystone team asking if they could sell my property.
Firstly, who contacts people at this time? I wouldn't call this being proactive.
Secondly, upon querying how they got my mobile number I was told they sourced it from a local WhatsApp group on my estate (I understand they live on the same estate). Also, how would they know it was me selling a house? Their response was they found me via posts I'd made on our estates's Facebook page. Could this breach GDPR regulations?
I was asked if I'd let them sell my property.
I was then asked if I'd accept an offer on the property.
I was then asked what I'd take for my property.
This is totally the wrong approach and I found it extremely unprofessional. If I'd wanted Keystone to sell my house then understand I would have spoken to them and not be badgered by them.
It only confirms I made the right decision to go with my current estate agent and not choose Keystone.
I've done the right thing and not mentioned the agents name. I'd recommend looking in to some sales training and I hope this isn't normal practice.
Finally, I'd appreciate it if you'd delete the contact details you looked up without my consent.
