GoogleCraig and his colleagues took the pressure out of selling my mother in laws house on my behalf. Their fees were competitive, their support was superb, keeping me up to date with every stage of the sale and liaising with all the parties involved on both sides of the sale I will be selling my own house in the near future, Cowell Norford will be my first and only choice of Estate Agent to act on my behalf.

GoogleBuying a house is very stressful so I was relieved to deal with such professional and friendly staff. Obviously looking out for the vendors interests but sympathetic and understanding to the buyers needs. Dominique was particularly helpful and I cn recommend them.

GoogleFrom booking a viewing, putting in an offer and completing the purchase of my new property Cowell Norford were wonderful. All the staff I spoke to and dealt with were warm and friendly, helpful and accommodating. IF I decide to sell in the future I will certainly consider approaching them to be my agent. I am grateful for all the help they gave. I highly recommend them to others.

GoogleA relative of ours recently passed away while renting one Cowell Norfords propertys and the help an other relative tried to receive from the company was none,he was even told if he didn't remove the clients furniture it would be put in storage and charged for it. disgusting!.
Stuart, I am really sorry to hear we haven't met your expectations, when dealing with the death of a relative. I understand it is a really upsetting time and I do believe we have tried to be as helpful as possible. My colleague who has been dealing with you throughout these last 5 weeks gathered all the information from the DPS ( where the deposit is held) and informed you of the process to claim the deposit. Due to you not being able to provide the relevant information to the DPS, we suggested we could claim the deposit and remove the items in the property to store them in your storage facility, this cost would need to be recovered from the deposit ( unfortunately). We also spoke to the landlord and informed her that the property would not / could not be cleared in time for the tenancy end date, to which they agreed to waived the 14 days rent, which should have been claimed, as we understood this was totally out of your control. I'm really sorry this did not meet your expectations but I genuinely believe the deposit release was out of our control, but in every other way, we have bent over backwards to help you through this upsetting time. GoogleThe best? - Cowell are definitely one of the best agents in Rochdale if not the best. They have a good structure where everyone plays a specific role (instead of people trying to manage different tasks) from Craig who came out to view my property for sale and gave me a valuation, to Jonny who proactively kept in touch with me till I took them on as an agent, to Dominique who has been a star keeping me up to date regularly, being responsive with communication and negotiating the sale of my property. I would use these guys again and would be happy to recommend them.

GoogleSo pleased I decided to sell my house with the team at Cowell Norford. Dominique has handled the initial sale of my house and purchase of a new property. From the start she has kept me fully informed, is always available by text, phone or email to handle any queries and has managed to negotiate the best selling price on my behalf. She has been super positive, efficient and professional throughout. Chased up other agents in the chain and in a matter of a few weeks has secured the sale and purchase. I can't fault her approach, friendly manner, work ethic and enthusiasm. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cowell Norford 👍

GoogleCowell Norford have been good right from the start - Craig came to value the property the day we called (fitted us in last minute), and the rest of the team (Sharon, Mazie, Dominique and Ben) have always done their best to do accompanied viewings to our convenience. GoogleIncredibly poor experience buying a house that was listed with Cowell Norford Rochdale. 'Buyers Beware' is one thing, but these guys were really pushy to not let us bring our own tradespeople onto site before purchase - very clearly so as not to disclose the full extent of issues with the property. Given up with them now since they've just stopped replying!! Save yourself the hassle and get an estate agent that does their due diligence and doesn't cover up issues to get a quick sale in.
