We have recently listed our house with Cowell Norford and viewed/put an offer in on another house also listed with them. We have primarily dealt with Danielle and she has been amazing. Incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and genuinely committed to getting us the best price for our house but also finding our perfect forever home. Nothing has been too much trouble for Danielle and she has been friendly and attentive throughout all of our dealings. We have also spoken with a number of other members of staff at Cowell Norford and every one of them has been equally helpful and friendly. The customer service we have received has been fantastic and we look forward to this continuing as we progress with them.

Letted our property with Cowell Norford but in particular Harry. He was great start to finish really professional and understood how important getting the right tenant for our previous family home was to us. We were with another estate agent previously and lack of effective communication was the biggest downfall. However, it’s been the complete opposite with Harry which we’re really grateful for. If you are looking to rent a property via an estate agent, I would highly recommend Cowell Norford. We recently moved into a property, where Cowell Norford are the letting agent. From simply booking a viewing, to completing the application, signing the agreement and getting the keys, Cowell Norford (and especially Suzie who was our dedicated advisor through this process) have been nothing short of amazing. As newbies to the renting scene, we had lots of questions along the way, and Suzie always gave us clear answers to keep our minds at ease.

Overall I’ve been left disappointed with the service provided by Cowell Norford when selling my house. From promising a premium service at the valuation and given the high fees they charge I felt assured I would receive a premium service to accompany this, Sadly this wasn’t to be. From agents turning up 15 mins late to viewings to problems with booking viewings and an expectancy from them that I could accommodate viewings at any given time and at the drop of a hat something I felt to be unrealistic and unachievable. Further problems ensued over the 26 week contract period regarding house keys not being posted when requested and them seemingly having no real plan or strategy on how to market my property when things went stale other than remove words off the asking price. I will however heap praise on Dominique she was brilliant throughout and after admitting they had not provided me a service I deserved she did go a long way to salvaging something of a professional relationship between myself and CN. Overall sadly, I wouldn’t recommend them from my experience.

We have just bought our first home with Cowel and Norford and we couldn’t be happier with our new house as the process in getting the house went pretty well. The employees were all very helpful especially Dominique who helped us a lot along the way. We cannot fault her she has been so lovely, helpful, friendly and understanding throughout and whenever we had any questions she would find answers and communicate with us straight away. I was also pregnant during the process of getting our first home and as you can imagine being pregnant and also having a toddler was not easy to say the least but Dominique made us feel like she really cared for us and genuinely wanted to help get us all sorted in our new home in time for the arrival of our new addition to the family. She made the process so much smoother for us and took away so much stress as she really reassured us and gave fantastic advice throughout. All of the staff that we came into contact with were all really lovely and we are so pleased we bought a house via this agency. There were a few issues as it took a while to get in but this was due to the seller as they too had to find a property to buy, Dominique dealt with this as best she could and really helped in getting any issues resolved and make everything as smooth as possible. Another lovely agent was Danielle who assisted every now and then too so even when Dominique wasn’t in the office either Danielle or other employees would really help in answering any questions we had. We did also decide to use a mortgage advisor via the agency and Stephen was fantastic we cannot fault him and he worked so hard in getting everything sorted for us. If you are looking at houses with this agency I would say they know how to look after you and are very professional yet caring to their customers too so you will be pleased! Thanks to everyone at Cowel and Norford and a special thanks to Dominique for everything we could not thank you enough!

Rang to book a viewing on a property, was told we was the very first enquiry and somebody would come back to us to arrange the viewing. No call so rang a couple of days later to chase (not that I should have to) to be told we already had a viewing booked and given a totally different name. When we said that was not us they offered a dual viewing. Not sure why some customers get a call back and some don't. Not good service for a simple task. Left a sour taste so cancelled the viewing as worried that when service really matters not being able to call a customer back and create a booking does not fill me with confidence.

Danielle and the team at Cowell Norford made the process of selling my parent's house a very straightforward affair, from having the valuation done to handing over the keys on completion day. We were given a realistic price range and got an offer in just a few weeks. One of the team came out to all of the viewings, and were always on time and well organised. Any queries I had were quickly dealt with. I have no hesitation recommending the team to anyone in need of their services and would definitely use them should my partner and I decide to move house.
