GoogleCouldn't ask for better with Carol and Nik. They were both very friendly and professional during the sale of my property, and were excellent at remaining in contact with the buyer and my solicitor throughout the whole process of selling my property which calmed my nerves during the months until the sale on my property were completed. GoogleI did a part exchange with persimmon. Sage and co handled persimmon and future buyer aspect of the sale. I didn't need to be in direct contact with them at all but when I called to see if everything was ok the other side if the transaction I was handled with great care from Carole. Carole was always happy to help and couldn't do enough to reassure me and talk me through anything I needed help with. I would recommend sage and co 100%. Always got through straight away when I called and always had a call back when promised. Thank you again Carole x

Having marketed our property with another agent for several months without any success, we transferred to Sage and within a few weeks we accepted an offer then just 7 weeks later the house sale completed! GoogleBooked a viewing for 3pm no-one showed up so I called the office at 4pm to cancel and the guy hung after I said I wanted to cancel the appointment after no-one made an effort to call me. Mr sage himself was the one doing the valuation and it was him that answered the telephone. lucky escape by the initial standard of customer service I would recommend Pinkmove they seem to know how to look after their customers.

GoogleAbsolutely furious. Put the property on the market for 140k, surveyor valuation came back at 125k based on properties sold in the area. After spending £1500+ in fees, and being pushed to get the surveys done qiucker only a couple of weeks ago.... the whole sale has now fallen through. My anger is that sage and co, with 'their experience and professionalism' knew full well what the valuation was going to come back as but the still proceeded to over value the property by 12%+. This is way off the mark. As much as i understand that the seller wants the maximum, as does the estate agents to get better commission, you cant try over pricing people out of the market value, especially when 97% of houses are bought with mortgages, which would all require a lenders valuation report so it was always going to become an issue. If it was the seller insistant on the price then Sage and co should of told them that this would be a problem and discouraged them putting it at that price.... 2-3% or a couple of grand each way is negotiable.... not £15,000 or 12%!!! greed took over on this occasion, whether that was by the vendor or sage and co, will probably never be known now, but ultimately, and in reality, we have all lost out, and no more than my partner and I. Sage and co lost the sale, the vendor wont be moving to their new home, and we (with our first baby due in 12 weeks) are £1500+ out of pocket and back to square 1 trying to het onthe property ladder.NegativeProfessionalism
Thank you for your review, we always take any complaints seriously. If you check the sold house price history and would care to speak with any property professionals in the area I believe that they will all confirm that house prices have risen significantly in the last few years. The last time the property was sold - that you were buying, was in 2017, for £119,995. So to suggest that all of the other properties in our area of operations mostly enjoyed minimum increases in value between 10 and 20% in the intervening three years whilst inexplicably this one virtually stood still is inconceivable. It is my professional opinion that the surveyor made an error in their appraisal and it is them that you should direct your complaint. I will stand by our valuation and I am more than happy to challenge the surveyor about this, as we did try to do so at the time. We are sorry that you feel that it was our mistake, however I cant see any fault in our valuation process coupled with the fact there were other interested parties at the advertised price, which would also suggest that we got it right. Sage estate agents have been absolutely superb, so professional, friendly and organised. They've really understood how emotional this sale has been for us and have been so supportive and helpful . GoogleTerrible customer service. Wont give you further details on a property if you not able to move within 28 days which means you have to give notice to your current landlord before having the security of having a new home lined up. Even after mentioning this, the simple reply was: "no problem, all the best"
Hi Hanjo, 28 days is just a general guideline. Move in dates are set by the landlords. We are more than happy to arrange move in dates to suit both tenants and landlords.
