Terrible, terrible, terrible.John D Wood Richmond Branch is a nightmare. They are trying to charge for the damages which they were before the tenancy started. Although the first inspection report clearly proves that the damages were there before we enter the house, they still keep trying to charge it.For your sake, I strongly recommend you avoid them.

GoogleWe chose John D Wood to sell our property as we had used and liked them several years ago. They brought a good flow of viewings and found us a buyer, despite it being at a tricky stage of the pandemic. Jess and Jane remained positive and tenacious through a rather challenging sale process, seeing us through to a successful completion. We are very grateful and can recommend the Richmond office.

He took a very balanced and reasonable view on what was a relatively complicated transaction. As a landlord, I cannot recommend this agency. They have high staff turnover, are extremely disorganized, blatantly mis-inform, and oversee shoddy maintenance. The experience from the POV of the tenant seems to be just as poor. The sales team blatantly over-promises, then the landlord is left trying to understand why they are on the hook for things they explicitly did not agree to. Really a horrible experience all around.

2 times they have been to appraise my house and i never hear anything back. On the second occasion i mentioned my first experience and got told it wouldn't happen again. it did. They then contacted me a 3rd time for an appraisal. DO NOT USE.

Chloe was friendly and professional from the start helping us with the initial viewings and paper work. The rest of the staff had a system meaning someone was always there to pick up the phone to me while I was over stressing.
