As a tenant by Vanet Asset Property Management (part of the John D Wood & Co Group), my comments for them are: just terrible!Such a bad treatment from one single agency. Staff turnover is extremely high, different agent each month. No issue log whatsoever, so you need to call them daily to make sure whoever picks up your case, will have the details. So many incidents where we thought our issue was progressing and being resolved, while in reality it wasn't!Forgetting/ignoring tasks, not even when it comes to deposit.Interesting to see what kind of training their agents go through? Do they know how to keep log of issues?Sorry but this is unacceptable treatment.

John D Wood owns APW, a lettings management company. Having raised a complaint against APW, I was, after a ridiculous amount of badgering, passed to John D Wood. Despite terrible reviews of APW already in place and after providing (several times) a list of 14 significant issues, I was informed they had done nothing wrong. Well, if the service (or lack thereof) I received was ‘fine’, goodness knows what this company thinks is poor service. Absolutely dreadful experience. I share another reviewer's frustration when they said they'd rather give their house away than use these guys again. Truly awful. Please don't use them.

Absolutely Tragic Organization
Failure to execute basic needs prior to move in- including ensuring lightbulbs were functioning. Failure to deliver resolutions to Damp issues preceding tenancy agreement. Even after escalating issues this organization failed to deliver anything in a timely manner. Incredibly disorganized and charging a 17.5% fee to landlord for Property "Management" when in reality they put the management of the property on the tenant. As others have said, quick to demand if they need anything from tenant, slow to react if anything is need of them. If I am a landlord I am steering clear of this organization or risking potential lawsuits.

GoogleVery bad service. I won't use them again. I called on Friday ( 1st call after posting the apartment) to request a viewing as I was very interested and they booked me in for a viewing on Monday, then Monday the appointment was cancelled by John D Wood. Apparently they did not have the keys of the apartment and they were supposed to contact me once they would get them from the landlord. It was all very strange to me and my husband ( English speaker) called them to book an appointment without saying I was trying to book it before. The lady from the agency confirmed an appointment!! but I was still waiting for them to contact me. After two days I called them and they said that the apartment was already let!! How come? They did not cancel the appointment with my husband. In conclusion, I think they do not want any non English speakers clients. Very bad Service! Very disappointed!!

More local agents to my house advised me not to use John D Wood of Richmond for this letting, as they did not have sufficient presence in our area. They could not have been more wrong!
Of the four agents whom I commissioned they were far and away the most productive; being the most professional, speedy and energetic. Within hours of taking them on, the first viewings were fixed, the photographer booked etc. etc.
I was so impressed with Alexandra and all the team. She was incredibly obliging in all respects - both with the negotiation of our terms and her understanding of my particular circumstances.
Within the first week, she had presented me with 2 equally attractive potential candidates whom it was hard to choose between. Here again, her advice was invaluable. By the end of the week, the deposit was lodged and credit checks were underway.
I could not fault their service in any way, would certainly recommend them to all, and will definitely use them again should the need arise.

Unprofessional, non-responsive and DO NOT return deposits timely
I had a problem slumlord with endless defects in the flat at 4100 a month. Landlord used JDW chelsea/earls court to manage the property. The pod never responded to email to fix anything. After 6 months we agreed to leave and pay less rent. The kid and his colleagues delayed releasing £4700 deposit for 18 days after moving out using any and all excuses until I threatened to file a dispute! Buyer be ware.

Although the first inspection report clearly proves that the damages were there before we enter the house, they still keep trying to charge it.For your sake, I strongly recommend you avoid them.
