Don't trust this agency. They put me through a horrible experience of renting a flat that is full of mould, damp and leaks. They handed over a property without sending me a complete inventory and I reported over 30 issues upon moving in including missing keys to the garden, dirty oven, mould in the bathroom, kitchen sink, on the living room windows, broken shelves in the wardrobe and others. Also, I learned later on that the property has gaps in the windows, under the walls and around external piping making it extremely cold in winter time. After 18 months of living in a lot of these issues are still outstanding and Snellers are not helpful at all as their excuse is that the property is landlord managed. However, they handled the hand over of the property in a state where it was uninhabitable without reporting any concerns!

Sneller's did a very good job overall on selling our house in Twickenham. Despite several ups and downs, they sold it for what we think is a fair price to us and the buyer. We would recommend them to anyone looking to sell their house or those looking to buy as they are we believe fair to both sides [whilst as promised they delivered on their list of interested buyers with offers in fact made before it had even been listed online or photographed so we would recommend to buyers to register with them as our property was sold prior to it being listed on Rightmove]. On top of the sale price and process being good we also commend Martin English on his continued professionalism during what was a very difficult sale for us and then dealing and managing the various ups and downs from the quick initial sale to getting it completed. We just had a premium experience in the house valuation with Snellers. After viewing the property, Kristopher, the sales director from Snellers Twickenahm, provided us with the print outs of many inspiring recent selling cases in the nearest area, brought us much confidence in the value of our property. We also received good honest advice on whether any building work may increase the house value. This helped us avoided any unnecessary spending. Snellers Twickenham sales consultant(Aliyah Williams) has been exceptional in understanding my need for my first home. The worst agents in Twickenham…

We have let our property through Snellers Twickenham and has been our worst experience. When we marketed through them they got us a applicant and asked us to stop viewings from other agents as they got an holding deposit but later the offer was withdrawn and we lost out on time and potential offers. Snellers have not passed this holding deposit even though they agreed we have lost out. Now with a new tenant that they secured for us has moved in on the 1st of April and till date 17th April Snellers have not paid us our rent even though they have received it from the tenant. We have send emails and phone calls but yet to receive our rent and a reply for this long delay. We have also requested to raise a complaint with the director Alex but don't seem to get any response on this. Not sure if the management is aware of such practice from their Twickenham branch. Hope other prospective landlords learn from our bitter experience with Snellers.

Sophie Sheppard: the renter’s best friend…

Sophie and Bethany have been a brilliant support to my husband and I whilst in a 7 year let in a property they manage.Initially we were given a designated agent to contact and that seemed to change all the time. But in recent years Sophie and Bethany have been managing the lets and things have greatly improved, due to that consistency of care. Sophie in particular has been great - she knows us now and the quirks of the Victorian property itself and the ins-&-outs such a period property can have. Sophie has never left us in limbo and has always moved on things quickly and helped our landlady keep this Victorian lady still standing & comfortable.As lifelong renters we have experienced many ups and downs with agencies, but Snellers has by far and away been the best we’ve had. If we weren’t moving out of the area, we would have looked to move into another of their managed properties going forward, as a result of the service and support we’ve received as renters. Consistency and good support are rare in letting agencies, but Sophie & Bethany & their team have managed it consistently for us in our time as their tenants.

I let a flat in Teddington, through Snellers Estate Agents.
