I was contacted about viewing a property two days ago. I wasn't asked if it was convenient to talk, was provided with a very small window of time to arrange to view it, and when I explained I was unable to view during those times, I was basically told there aren't any other options. I haven't heard anything since. I understand that in some cases, it's a sellers market - but I think there's a basic level of service and courtesy that we should be able to expect as potential buyers. Based on my experience, I'd avoid this company.

Hollie and Kim helped us to sell our flat in St George. They were really patient with our (many) questions and suggestions to marketing our property; gave us sound advice on valuations; and worked hard to find the right buyer. You can go with online agents but Holbrook Moran are an established local agent who know the Redfield/St George area well, are competitively priced and always at the end of the phone/in the office to drop by and see. Even I am surprised at myself that I am writing a positive review about an Estate Agent! Holbrook Moran took on the project of selling the house knowing that it wasn’t going to be an easy sale due to some unusual circumstances. The manager Dean came to value the property and supplied some innovative ideas as to how we could achieve maximum exposure to the market. An open day was arranged and their tactics worked, more than 50 viewings took place! Even though the winning bidder attempted to renegotiate the sale price just prior to the exchange of contracts, their negotiator Leigh tirelessly kept the dialogue going and secured the previous price that was agreed, saving me a considerable amount of money and keeping me informed at every stage. All of their staff were friendly and approachable, and their honesty with me was appreciated, even if it wasn’t what I wanted to hear at times. Thank you for all the time you have spent making my house sale possible.

We all know what a difficult and stressful experience buying and selling a house can be, and it's so important to have the right professionals to help you through it all. I spoke to three separate agencies before deciding, but had no hesitation in choosing Holbrook Moran to help me sell my house. They very quickly set up viewings, gave me prompt feedback, and even more importantly, quickly found me a buyer! Dean and his staff were unfailingly polite, patient and professional. I was naturally anxious while the whole process was going through, but Dean followed up on all my queries, chasing things along when other people involved in the chain seemed to be holding things up, and really going the extra mile. Holbrook Moran are single handedly the most incompetant estate agent i have ever had the misfortune of being "managed" by. They have no idea what is going on in their properties and whats worse is they dont care. A group of toddlers would do a better job! ive been with holbrook moran since april of this year and had nothing but problems. I was warned against choosing this agency prior to moving in and I wish i'd listened. As the old saying goes theres no smoke without fire. I live next door to known drug abusers, ofcourse all payed for by the council. My first complaint to holbrook was a week after moving in, my neighbours are still there and still keeping me up every night. Holbrook then recently moved in a new trouble tenant, who grows weed from his flat and doesnt actually live there. Holbrook assure me they rely on good references for all tenants. What a load of rubbish. Im yet to receive my contract from them and my copy of the inventory. Although the inventory was done without me present so how they have my signature on it is a miracle!! Without that its completely worthless. this agency will take your money, lie and then leave you to sort everything out for yourself.Think very carefully before deciding to go with them!!
