We sold and bought through Pettys in January 2018 and the team ensured that both transactions went through smoothly. We were looking to buy a property for nearly three years and so met the team on many occasions. When we finally got to the point of buying through Petty Son & Prestwich, the team were fantastic. They facilitated communication between us and their sellers promptly and clearly. Moreover they were much more helpful than own own agents with advice on managing our tricky buyer. At the point of exchange and completion, they liaised up and down the chain to keep things moving. I honestly don’t think it would have all gone through without them. I can highly recommend them, and while we have no intention of moving again, if we did, they would be my first choice.

We sold a property through Petty Son and Prestwich recently and we found the service to be absolutely first class. From the professional way that they marketed it with a great video. The open day they organised for us with updates on viewings and the helpful feedback which enabled us to connect with the perfect buyer for the house. They were also able to offer insights for us on local services for us to use such as a really good solicitor. We have used Pettys for rental and sales and cannot praise them highly enough. During renting, they found an excellent tenant, checked the property regularly and sent photos. They dealt with any issues and really took a load off. The selling was a nightmare due to the buyers dithering solicitors, but Pettys staff all persevered well beyond the remit and got things done. All the staff work as a team to get the job done and we cannot praise or thank them all enough. There is an old fashioned honesty about this company, rarely felt elsewhere. We would never use anyone else, nor should you !

Pettyson & Prestwich have been a model estate agency service, and we incredibly helpful in all areas of my stay in the property that they were letting. I appreciate the patience and the support their entire team gave us whilst we were in the property, and also how effective they made the communication between the landlord and us. After I searched about Council Tax Band appeal I came across your website and information about how to appeal against my council tax band. Many thanks for all the information on your website I have now successfully appealed and got my Council tax band altered from E band to D band. VOA initially did not accept my first appeal to them then I took the case further to valuation tribunal then few months later before hearing date they accepted my appeal and agreed to alter my council tax band. I would highly recommend Petty Son & Prestwich. As a first time buyer, the process was incredibly smooth from the beginning. All of the staff at Petty’s (especially Kinga & Elaine who I dealt with) were incredibly friendly, honest and helpful. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional estate agents. The staff are rude and as they are all family, they can say and do what they want without getting fired. They tried to kick me out of the house on 2 separate occasions when I always paid rent on time and kept the property immaculate. The landlord overruled their decision on both occasions. If that wasn’t enough, they tried to take me for everything I had on check out.
