Tristan in Colchester F&C was superb…

Tristan in Colchester F&C was superb throughout the sale of our Suffolk property. Even our purchasers were complementary about his work and demeanour. We have bought and sold aprox 5 times in the past 20 Yrs and he is the best Estate Agent we have ever had dealings with. Basically, all the service level promises he made when pitching for the agency he delivered on eg feedback from every viewing, only sending credible viewers not time wasters, and he assisted the speed of a 10 week from viewing to completion turn-around of a complicated sale which might not have completed otherwise. If you don’t use him you’ll be sorry.

Fine & Country - outstanding agents

Anita our local agent has been superb. Right through the first lockdown and without us being in the house as we had to move for work.Anita and the Fine & Country team have been amazing. They have handled house viewings, offers, surveys and other related activities. They recommended a local solicitor who was excellent and Anita then worked with them day in and day out to make sure the process went through.It's been a long eight months all in with the lockdown but we are happily based up in North Yorkshire now, sad to leave Derbyshire but made really easy by Anita and the Fine & Country team.

Fine & County, Diss Norfolk have been superb from start to finish. Real experts. From an excellent appraisal and an honest, reasoned valuation and follow-up personal involvement by Sales Director Chris Scott to managed viewings by an enthusiastic Senior Sales Negotiator, Tania - who always went the extra mile to secure the sale. As well as day-to-day management, communication, preparation and oversight by Office Manager Sue. Certainly the A team in my opinion. Their brochure was top quality and unique, involving seller input via a “one on one” specialist reporter’s interview, as well as professional drone overflights and excellent photography. They were recommended to me and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to you - especially if you have a mature, Grade I or II Listed dwelling. They are the specialists in this type of property who, most importantly, care. They coped admirably with the challenges of the ongoing pandemic. Call them, you will not be disappointed. I’ve been buying and selling property in UK for nearly forty years and the Fine & Country, Diss office is the best I’ve come across. Thank you - team!

Positive Sale

Arma provided an excellent service for us when we had to sell my mother in laws property after she had to go into residential care. Exemplary service from an Estate Agent

Chamberlains sold my house in Lower Brimley and Fine and Country found the house we bought and now live in.I spent my working life in the Construction Industry and can honestly say that I have never had service from an Estate Agent as good as that we received from Fine and Country.On both deals the Sales Team that we dealt with, being James, Zoe and Amy, were exemplary and the service they gave us exceptional; they could not have been more helpful.And our special thanks and compliments go to James who, I feel, served his Client exceptionally well in selling their property, in most difficult circumstances and equally served us exceptionally well as prospective purchasers. Marie at Fine and Country is absolutely amazing!

We have just purchased a property through Fine and Country and Marie the agent dealing with the sale was amazing throughout the whole process! When she showed us around the property she was knowledgeable, polite and professional and was able to answer any questions we had about the property. Once our offer was accepted by the vendor Marie contacted us weekly with updates regarding the entire chain, including updates on our own sale and what needed to be done. She spoke with Solicitors and other estate agents in the chain and always knew what was happening. When things weren’t moving as we wanted or we couldn’t get the answers we needed she spent time chasing down answers and always updated us quickly. Her knowledge around the process of buying and selling houses is second to none and she happily offers support and guidance. We can not recommend her highly enough, without Marie our sale and purchase would have been a far more stressful experience. If we ever move again Marie would be the first person I’d call!

I used an alternative estate agent to sell my property and had viewed a new home marketed by fine & country. During the months waiting to sell my house the staff at F&C (Willerby, East Yorkshire) gave me advice about improving potential buyers even though they were not my agents. Whilst waiting to sell the staff kept me informed of the house I wanted to buy. When I was in a position to buy the home from them they were as excited as I was that I was finally able to put in an offer. Professional service from Fine and Country team

Recently I sold a house through Fine and Country, Solihull Branch.I was very assured of the service offered at my first meeting with Martin and Rachel from the Solihull branch of F&C, and we agreed terms of contract. I immediately received excellent service, support and good advice from the team throughout the process. They were always respectful, promptly responded to emails and telephone calls or messages.The house was quickly advertised on line supported by photographs and a beautiful quality brochure for circulation.We soon had several viewings and an early acceptable offer. Unfortunately, due circumstances beyond Martin’s control, including the present virus, the property could not be sold. Despite this set back, Martin remained in constant touch, calm and confident. He was reassuring, gave advice and guidance. Most importantly he was very optimistic that when circumstances improved there would be a quick sale. This came true this August when the property was quickly sold.I will be for ever grateful for Martin and the F&C team for their excellent service. Hugh.

A Fine sale of a Country home

We have just completed the sale of our 4 bed home on Dartmoor in Devon with Fine & Country. James Cooper has proved to be an outstanding estate agent who has provided a personable and attentive service throughout. In the old days (yes, I am a bit of a dinosaur) once you were under offer then that was it as far as service was concerned. Not so with Fine & Country, in fact accepting the offer is only the beginning of the journey. James has kept in touch every step of the way which is comforting to know; proactive and on the ball. James certainly earned his commission and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his service.

Fine and Country Brookmans Park - beware of upfront charges

Dealt with Fine and Country Brookmans Park previously and the service was ok, not fantastic but ok. This time I decided to use them again and placed my property on the market with Matthew. At no point did he tell me that I had to pay for the photographs that were taken in order for him to market my property. When I reviewed the listing on Rightmove I wasn't happy. Spelling errors, not much of a description and, initially - no floor plan, minimal photographs uploaded. I decided to go joint agency because I believe that other agents use more modern marketing methods, drones, video tours etc. at no extra cost. When I told Matthew I wanted to go joint agency he sent me a bill for £180.00 to pay for the photographs for marketing on Rightmove. Keep in mind I was only asking him to go joint agency I didn't remove the property from them. If he had sold my property he would have still made circa £20,000 from my sale so to charge me £180.00 seems not only petty but unprofessional at worst certainly not customary. I have never heard of an agent asking the vendor to pay for marketing their property before. Luckily the new agent offered to reduce their fee by £180 to compensate me for something that had nothing to do with them. Beware you may be asked to pay "marketing costs" if for any reason you are not happy with the service and decide to go joint agency! It was on Rightmove for less than 24 hours!
