We got there in the end

Despite putting my house on the market just before the 2019 lockdown began, Fine & Country managed to find me a buyer for a sale one year later. To begin with I was not sure I had made the right choice of estate agent as I found errors in the text when their suggested brochure was sent to me and there were no pictures of the two rooms that my own visitors always fond most impressive. However, after the initial blips, I was very happy with the service that was provided and the way contact was kept with me right through the sale procedure.

An Agency That Sets The Standard.

What can we say?! Our experience with F&C has been first-rate from start to finish. Graham knew the type of property we were looking for (we had pretty specific hopes for what we'd like to find), and he gave us the heads-up of a place before it came to the open market so we could have a cheeky peek before anyone else. We fell in love with it and even though it did go to the open market, we were successful in our offer. It's amazed us that the process from our offer being accepted, to our exchange of contracts took only four weeks! <3 We know that having Graham in our corner helped the process no-end with communication between us, our sellers and both solicitors. All the recommended service providers from their little black book have been superb too. We made it clear we hoped for a stress-free transaction with a sense of ease and transparency and that's exactly how our experience has been. We're so grateful for the personal and dedicated service we received through every step of buying our home.

Professional Service

We recently purchased a property listed with Fine and Country and were very impressed with the service. We had seen the property on line and weren’t 100% sure whether to view it because of the Covid restrictions. Lucky for us Halina and Richard filmed an excellent walkthrough tour of the house and surrounding area and then a Facebook live tour and we were persuaded to view it.Halina hosted our subsequent Covid aware viewings of the house and was professional, well researched and able to answer all of our initial questions there and then. We were given time to view and take in the property and didn’t feel at all rushed. As with any house purchase we thought of lots of things to ask afterwards and she was always very helpful and went above and beyond communicating with the vendor sometimes replying out of hours.As a result we are now living in our dream home. Exceptional customer service

The support and assistance we received through our house purchase was incredible. The team are helpful, warm, friendly and highly experienced. They went over and above and as a buyer, we weren’t even a paying customer. Moving home can be a very stressful…

Moving home can be a very stressful experience especially when you have not moved for 25 years! I am very pleased to have chosen Fine & Country Norwich to market our property and the service has been excellent from the start, with the high quality brochure and great photography to the finish at exchange day! There have been many ups and downs along the way but Natasha and Richard have both provided top customer service. Natasha has mostly been responsible for the sale and after sale and has been a pleasure to work with.

Made us more money

We recently sold our property through Fine & Country West Malling. Our main contacts were Michael and Karen; both of whom were friendly and approachable. We had a number of agents out to value the property, however, Fine & Country were the only agent who valued our property around the price we expected; a price which was achieved and considerably more than other local agents had given. Fees are higher than the majority of agents, but even taking that into account we got a lot more for our house.

Viewed a rental property at Harleston…

Viewed a rental property at Harleston which is on for £2,000 pm and if I was the landlord I wouldn’t be particularly happy with the viewings being undertaken. My daughter rang for a viewing and got toldthey are only doing viewings over 1 days and if they had a cancellation someone would be in contact with her. I rang and got an appointment. Surely appointments are done until a tenant is found? A reputable company like Fine and Country I would certainly expect the member of staff to be a bit more enthusiastic about promoting the property and certainly a bitmore clued up on it bearing in mind it had been up for rent since the beginning of February. I appreciate it is COVID times but being told to show yourself around and the few questions like is that a log burner ....yeah I think so! How much land is included.....I don’t know I am waiting for that groundsman to confirm and what outbuildings are there that we can use which were all in the same areas....:oh you can’t use one because they are storing their stuff in it! Which one.......the larger one! How many stables are there? 3 I think, but you can walk yourself down there afterward! She obviously didn’t want to go out in the cold! I felt she was totally disinterested. I really couldn’t be bothered to ask any more questions and totally put me off the property. If this is the customer service a tenant receives trying to promote the property I shudder to think the service if anything goes wrong. I would love to know what the poor landlord is paying for this shambolic service

Bad experience so far. Called the Huddersfield office on the morning the property was listed. Was told they would get back to me. Chased up daily since and every time have been told someone would check for available times. Last time I spoke to someone I was told the next viewing was 3 weeks away and earlier viewings had been booked up. Feels like they are selecting who can and can't view the property

I can echo the other positive reviews here but specifically my praise and thanks are directed towards Tristan and Charlotte of the Colchester branch. Fine and Country managed to produce a constant and almost weekly stream of viewers (which was in direct contrast to the agency, apparently of note, that had previously marketed my property). Tristan and Charlotte have been excellent in remaining in contact with me, they have been very professional and patient throughout a very complicated sale of previously unregistered property and land, they never lost interest in dealing with the myriad of problems that my sale threw up! In trying to find a new property for my elderly mother I have experienced both ends of the spectrum in regards to estate agents. One agent who is prepared to tell blatant lies to secure their commission on the sale and the other end, which was Fine & Country in Woodbridge. Great friendly personal service

Katie Powney at Fine and Country's Uckfield office was great. She worked really hard and was always helpful and friendly. She must have shown my house 30 times! After accepting an offer and then having it fall through twice we finally managed to sell the house albeit at a lot less than we had started out with (Initially Fine and Country valued it at 575k and we ended up selling it for 500k). Throughout all these disappointments Fine and Country remained positive.The only reason I have not given them 5 stars is because it took a year to get here and I don't really think that was their fault.
