the Wales, (Narberth branch ) of this franchise is operated on a a totally unprofessional basis, With its insincere attitude towards clients plus the lack of communication skills and businesses etiquette, which is totally unprofessional . This brings the respected name of fine & country into total disrepute, through this total attitude and disregard of customer care it has lost this franchise 2%( higher than most other estate agents) a possible commission on a potential sale of 2 properties estimate value £2.3 million.This attitude sets a really bad example for the people employed at this branch who are forced to make excuses on behalf of the management for the lack of their interest in anything regarding decency and professionalism

Silence from Fine & Country Complaints

In their 21 July 21 response to my 16 July 21 review, Fine and Country invited us to email their customer complaints department in respect of the concerns mentioned in the review and stated that they would ‘endeavour to resolve’ the situation. They have neither acknowledged nor responded to emails sent to them on 2 & 12 Aug 21 to take up their offer. When I read their response to the initial review, I thought that they might just be about to put things right. Alas - just silence. I wonder if they will put their standard response to negative reviews against this one. Come on Fine & Country, surely this isn’t the kind of customer service that you aim to portray! Looking forward to finally hearing from you, please.

Adam Farrell and Matthew Higgins have…

Adam Farrell and Matthew Higgins have shown themselves to be thoroughly incompetent, unprofessional and totally bereft of any integrity. Their ineptitude led to a situation whereby my two daughters and I were left homeless due to the oversight of an issue relating to lease length on a property they were trying to ‘sell’. Basic communication was impossible for them and their professional neglect - not relaying the fact that the property had 71 years left on the leasee - resulted in a delay that left me without a home. They pushed me for an even earlier date for exchange without any recognition of basic facts that affect a sale. Go with Fine and Country at your peril. I can’t vouch for other offices but the Hove branch is run by people that I wouldn’t trust to look after my dog let alone be in charge of sales of properties. Their inability to manage a sale process beggars belief and I would warn very strongly anybody against engaging with this unit of incompetents. I would recommend forfeiting any property you see advertised by these shysters rather than be led down a path which can lead to homelessness. I cannot stress strong enough just how bad they are.

An excellent property obtained in the Mucia region of Spain

I was looking for a property in the Alicante to Cartagena area and sought the help of several local agents. Of the three selected, only one stood out for customer care - Richard and Samantha Oldfield, Fine & Country Costa Blanca South Region. The other two simply offered several properties, most of which didn't meet my requested parameters. Only one of those got back to me with a viewing of a suitable property, then later told me that it had been sold - no alternatives were suggested or proposed for the future. Richard and Samantha did way better, offering properties of the right type, in the preferred price range and location. Viewings of them all followed. I have now placed a deposit on my favourite and expect to get the keys in the near future. Easily the best agents I've come across in Spain.

I used the Uckfield branch of Fine and Country to help sell my house. I had a number of other estate agents value my house. Fine and Country saw something in my house and valued it highly. Their support, kindness and honesty along the way has been second to none. I am particularly grateful to the staff who worked with me. We recently sold our 3 bedroom townhouse in Stamford with Fine & Country and the experience was excellent. The team is a close knit, friendly and supportive group who are consistently responsive and helpful. The rate was competitive and included a brilliant photographer and a fantastic property brochure for prospective buyers. One of the team, Christine, conducted all of our viewings after getting to know the house. She talked us through feedback and made suggestions as to how we might improve the buyers experience. The offer process was managed well and we were very pleased with the sale price. All in all a great experience

After trying another local, agent first, who was absolutely useless, and did not sort out any issues, totally unprofessional and even lied , we then chose Fine and country. i can certainly say the lady involved was so helpful, and arranged everything, which we did not have before with the other agents.The video was supurb, and the property was sold and completed before the stamp duty relief ended.I would certainly have no problem using this company again. My experience was with the Sutton Coldfield office. well done.

Where to begin

Where to begin ? Liz and Nicola at the Rugby office of F&C found us our buyer when the previous agent had failed miserably . They secured the sale by being efficient , keeping both us and our buyers up to date at all times , and liaising between solicitors etc.. Achieving a sale is usually fraught with uncertainty but both did their utmost to minimise this and to relieve the stress . At all times they were friendly and re-assuring. My wife and I cannot speak highly enough about them and would recommend their services to anybody wishing to buy or sell a house . I'm almost sad it's all over ( not really!! ).

Great Service from Fine & Country

We put our property on the market with Fine & Country last September, after speaking with a number of local agents. Our property was significantly undervalued by Harwich and Village Homes so it was a relief to receive a valuation close to where we thought the property should be marketed and demonstrated that a local firm can be too local. This, along with a competitive fee, made the decision to go with Fine & Country over the other high street agencies we also spoke to an easy one. The communication and responsiveness of the team was excellent from the outset and we received multiple offers for our property within two weeks. The quality of the photographs and particulars they produced was outstanding and clearly instrumental in developing the high levels of interest our property received in such a short period. Paula McCartney became our main point of contact seeing us through some difficulties and we couldn't be more pleased with the service she and Fine & Country provided - she was in regular contact, was always easy to get in contact with, gave sound advice at all stages of the sale and went the extra mile for us. We ended up achieving a sale in excess of the asking price and significantly over the other valuations previously provided. I would have no hesitation in recommending Fine & Country and Paula McCartney. We are very glad we decided to instruct them.

Great property purchase with Fine & Country Northampton! Marie facilitated the purchase and made the process unbelievable smooth. Had 4 other properties fall through due to bad estate agents or solicitors. Called up to request a viewing on a property to be told an offer had been accepted the day before. My partner rang a couple of days later to be told an offer had just been accepted so a different story.Some three weeks later, the property still appears to be on the market on their website and on Rightmove.The branch in question is Staffordshire and, as of today, the property is still not showing as ‘Under Offer’
