Alex and Faraz handled the sale professionally from start to finish, constantly keeping me informed, even when I was abroad. They went over and above what I expected from an estate agency , recommending solicitors, cleaning lady and removal man, who all pulled out the stops so that the sale could be completed. Knowledgeable at first and we could have gone with them but frustrating when consistently giving inadequate email replies to important questions and coming across as too relaxed and then petulant when we eventually went with another agent who was more on the ball.

GoogleWinkworth are atrocious at rental property management. Never gave my landlord the check in report, upon moving in hence it was not signed. Luckily I took personal photos of EVERYTHING!!! the day I moved in. Then they tried to claim wall marks and carpet issues that had been there since I moved in, after I moved out. I won my deposit with DPS who actually know what they are doing, whilst winkworth were so incompetent they didn’t see that the photos I took originally contradicted their silly claims. DO NOT TOUCH WINKWORTH WITH A BARDGE POLE, I URGE YOU!!!! …… Because this was just one of my many problems with their lack of service.

They have patiently guided us through filling in all the forms necessary to complete our agreement with the landlord. We really enjoyed working together with Andrew C from the Kensal Rise office on the house we just bought. He was the agent for the sellers but helped us a lot as well in making sure the transaction went smoothly and everything staid on track. As first time buyers the whole process can be quite overwhelming so we really appreciated his open and honest advice.

The staff at Winkworth were highly professional at all levels. Fast to respond to queries, assisted with all logistics needed for a tenancy turnover. Quick to get potential tenants to view. In essence they took all the time consuming heavy lifting aawy from me so was a stress free process, for which I am very grateful and would highly recommend Winkworth as letting agents.

GoogleChanging to 5 stars. The original one-star story is here below, however, there has been a change in management and I have to say that now it seems a completely different service. Super responsive, reasonable and helpful Original 1 star feedback: Family of 4, boiler not working. They are the property management the landlord selected. Called on Saturday morning, and they wasted our time with information downloaded from the Internet I looked up myself too. Eventually, they claimed I had no gas when I mentioned the hobs were working. So they decided to call on Monday to see if they could send someone to take a look. It was forecasted to be -5 degrees during the night and it was like that. I had to call myself an emergency service, pay for it, and of course it wasn't the gas. Careless people as humans and business. Cannot say as a landlord, but if you are renting, it is best to stay away from them. Reading office

GoogleUpdated on Oct 25: The Sales team is excellent but the property management team is terrible. I have reported a case - a non-working oven for nearly 2 months but still having not been fixed. Everytime they replied me to call me back but it never happened. I think this sustaining service is one of the key factors when you choose a property agent. I thought to ask them to help to buy a new house next but I gave up now. It is a great experience with the Winkworth Reading team. From initial inquiry till the moving into the new house. It is great to have Holly and Annette in the whole process. They are working proactively to meet me needs and always provide timely response to me query. Very much advise working with Winkworth if you are looking to buy/sell your property.
