I have been very satisfied with my property manager Agnese Rees. Ever since she had been appointed as my property manager she had always been polite, friendly, professional, highly responsive (even during out-of-office hours) and has truly given her best to find the best solution to any given issue at hand within a reasonable time frame. A property manager who honestly cares about the tenant and goes well above and beyond to help with tenancy issues.

TrustpilotMarketed my property without permission
Prospect estate agents approached me about selling my property as they had someone looking for a property like mine in that area. They came and valued my property on a Saturday. They gave me an agreeable valuation. I then enquired about their fees the following week and found them to be extortionate. I politely declined their services by email. An email they ignored (professional). I went with a much more friendly, reasonably priced agent and got my property on the market. When I was looking online for my advert that the current agent had produced I realised Prospect had marketed my property WITHOUT instruction at 10% lower than the price they said I should be selling my property for. They just took it upon themselves to market my property. Clearly an illegal move. I have been in contact with the office asking for the head offices details multiple times and they ignored me. No apology. I will be taking this further. Avoid these money grabbing cow boys.

This is only related to the Reading office. I spoke to someone called Michael who was quite rude and unprofessional. Out of courtesy, I phoned to tell him I was going to use a different agent. I think the best thing he could've done was be polite, in case I changed my mind in future, but instead he started slating the other estate agent and told me that if fee percentage was a deciding factor, then he would not help us. He's now risked any chance of us switching to him, if things don't work out with the agent we did choose.

We decided to have our house valued just to get an idea.We were surprised at the value so went ahead and put it on the market with prospect.It went on line on the friday. We had 7 viewings in 4 days. By the end of day 4 we had an offer which we accepted.Can't really complain at this service.My only issue was the agent was late for the first viewing getting stuck in traffic. Not off to a great start but all sorted in the end.

After finding a property I liked and going through the usual process I was told that all had been agreed and to go forward with everything (like buying furniture to fit in the property). I was then told it hadn’t been agreed then that they hadn’t/had spoken to the landlord and it wouldn’t be available until after the date I had been told. At this point I had nowhere else to go as I had agreed to move out of my former property which was ok as I had paid a holding deposit and was told it was just a delay. Then I was told the price had increased to 2200 from 1600 and the landlord wanted an old couple so I couldn’t have the property. At this point they weren’t even trying to explain the various lies along with it being them who said the property had been agreed and to move forward with them. I had expected professionalism however instead I am left (short term?) Sofa surfing whilst I find an estaré agent who can do what they say

We have rented a flat in Reading for 10 years through Prospect. From the very first viewing all those years back to our recent checkout, we have dealt with quite a few different people within their team, all of them have been professional, responsive and always helpful. They kept us informed of any changes to our contract, they liaised promptly with the landlord when something needed to be fixed and booked reparations quickly, arranged regular inspections of the flat and the appliances, in short they made our tenancy smooth and hassle-free at all stages. Thank you!

Sadly, my buyer has been very very slow with buying my property after I had put in an offer on a house, which was accepted, through Prospect. I informed Prospect at each stage what was happening (or not happening) & that I was having to put my property back on the market. This was in August. When I later contacted them to say my buyer was now proceeding with everything, they informed me that they had sold the property to someone else, in August. Apparently they left a voicemail & text me to ask me to call them. I have no text. I wasn't even informed it was going back on the market. They admitted someone should have emailed or written to me to have told me & admitted the fault was theirs. However, in Sep I paid money for the searches , not knowing it wasn't going to be mine & since I pointed this out, they now say that they believe they did everything to get hold of me- a voice mail to call back & a supposed text- no email, no letter. I have now lost this money. I was warned about their communication, which was why I went with another company. Make sure everything is emailed! Really disappointing!

We engaged Prospect to sell our property in Jul/Aug. We were initially skeptical of a high st agency and fearful of costs but Colin worked with us and importantly gave us the reality check we needed without embellishing facts to secure our custom, which was highly appreciated in a market that is presently very crowded. Ryan, Grace and rest of the team have been excellent through the sales process. We’re looking to complete soon and hope things go well. We’d definitely recommend Prospect.
