GoogleDon't rent from them. They will help landlord to rip you off. I have met few agencies. Parkers is surely the worst so far. Especially if one day they have a house came up in Redlands area. Landlord is a cheap mean old man and he and Parkers treat tenant disrespectfully. And rip you off when you move out.

GoogleI first used Parkers in 1988 and was impressed then as I have been this time. There is still a place for a friendly, professional, speedy, courteous and knowledgeable estate agency when buying or selling properties. Parkers offers exactly that. Previously I had considered the days of high street estate agencies may be over; I stand corrected. Thank you Parkers!!

GoogleParkers were asked to help us with a flat we wished to sell. Selling was difficult because of the pandemic but they let it immediately for us for 6 months, managed it well and then helped us to sell it . Very good communication throughout . Achieved the desired price and made it easy for us

GoogleIf youre looking for the reasons behind regulatory reform of UK rentals then look no further than Parkers. For a nominal management fee they will regularly harass your good paying tenants, treat them like worthless scum, and when you get tired of renting they will happily throw them into the street and then proceed to try and steal every last cent of their deposit for whatever absurd reason they can invent until you are forced to take legal action to get them to suddenly reverse course. Never in my life have I been treated as awfully as this gang of unempathetic bullies. Update: If you think that doing whatever you can legally get away with is akin to providing good service or being good people you have a lot to learn in this world.

Unfortunately Parker’s has a weak link at senior level of its lettings department. Their team, however, are excellent. More landlords will move their business from Parker’s if they don’t address poor responses to reasonable concerns. I note that a previous reviewer was threatened with legal action for placing a poor review. When I initially wrote to Parker’s to explain my reasons for concern, the first response I got was to send me an official complaints form, rather than any attempt to read my letter or reply to it in a professional manner.

GoogleAs a buyer last year with Parkers we had a mixed experience, and wouldn't trust them in the future (as buyers or sellers). The initial contact with the sales team was great, very helpful to arrange the viewings and clear/quick best offer process. But things went downhill once our offer was accepted and we moved to the negotiation team. Poor communication about how things were progressing with the sellers, and absolutely nothing happened over the 2 months summer holiday when they knew our MIP was expiring early October. This was at the time when interest rates were rapidly increasing, and we told Parkers with months notice that should we lose our mortgage offer, we would have to lower our offer on the house. They were very dismissive, arguing that the housing market was doing very well, was still a seller market despite the skyrocketing interest rates, and that the sellers wouldn't accept our lower offer. In the end the top of the chain pulled out because things were so slow, our lower offer was rejected immediately (they laughed at us on the phone) so we pulled out and found another house 2 days later. Parkers called us a few days later to say the sellers would consider dropping 20k on the price, which we rejected since we had already found something else. They did manage to sell but completed more than a year (!) after we completed our own purchase. They dropped the price twice, probably selling 25-50k under our initial offer. We can understand the sellers choice, but really Parkers attitude was ridiculous. It was obvious that all buyers were going to be affected by the mortgage rates increase, and their advice to the sellers were really poor.

Unfortunately, this delay was primarily a result of the complexities within the extensive chain, involving various links and parties. However, we were reliant on receiving information from other agents and parties involved, which unfortunately lay beyond our control. This situation led to a regrettable delay.
