GoogleI have rented out my property with Barratts now for about ten years . Their business has grown during this time but they have managed to retain the caring family atmosphere. They are highly professional, helpful and friendly. Any enquiries or problems have been solved extremely quickly either by themselves or by a group of professionals they trust. I have visited their offices but most of my interaction with them is by email - either way, the service is the same good standard. Highly recommended.

FacebookFuc..g thieves hey hide behind legal jargnesse only deciding to confirm in writing true facts about their contracts until after the event. They charged 600 pounds for breaking a contract and yet when I ask them for an itemised bill detailing how these charges have been incurred by they don't do so. Neither the landlord or Barretts have supplied an invoice showing how these costs have been incurred.They charged a deposit of eight weeks rent when maximum should be six . When Carol Barrett was asked on the phone "why see did not explain at time of signing the consequences of breaking the contract she said "I see no reason to explain the consequences" . instead a letter arrives with a relevant paragraph quoted ..with the following comment .."in other words you will be responsible for redrafting of lease . The ad I imagine world take 3O seconds to change on line . A new lease involves a change of name and address of new tenant . References involves one letter to employer and former mortgagee ..and all for 600 pounds . Good news Barretts allsorts of tricks Willbe coming to an end . Government legislation means they will have to be transparent with costs. Not before time see Gov.uk rental charges for details . What a bunch of rogues . By comparison I had a flat in Spain professionally cleaned a new lease drawn up for 50 euros. 45 pounds . British psyche of making a fast buck repels me . !!!!

GoogleI have let my flat through Barretts for the last 12 years and would never consider going elsewhere. I have found their service to be competent and professional with a team of very friendly staff supporting Carol and Matthew Barrett. They understand the business from both a landlords and tenants perspective, deal with problems that arise from time to time efficiently and I've found them always available for advice if needed. I recently had a tenant dispute with the Tenant Deposit Scheme which was handled on my behalf by Carol Barrett and achieved a successful outcome.

GoogleI have recently purchased a property for redevelopment and decided to rent it out in the short term. I made contact with Barretts for some advice and they could not have been more professional and helpful. I subsequently used them to market my property and they found me a tenant within days. They have a very intuitive and user friendly system that deals with all of the paperwork and I do not hesitate in highly recommending them.

GoogleI’ve used Barrett’s for 6 and a bit years now on a short hold assured tenancy agreement. I have found Barrett’s to be quick and easy to deal with, always friendly and any repairs carried out promptly to their best ability (landlord permitting).
