I recently bought a property at Abbott’s and rented through the same branch, I was told when placing the offer I would be helped with the fees, and when it came to the nittygritty task of try to get hold of the manger to discussed my calls was disregarded. I had to pay unfair fees when I was told that the landlord on had the market service that would cost £400 for the early end of tenancy, instead charged £1100! I need this investigated....

Hi, Sarah at Abbott’s has been great for my company Pearl Properties Ltd. We have a constantly relied on Sarah to advise us about our property portfolio. We have lots of properties in the local area and Sarah has allways come up with the goods in respect of finding new tenants for us, meeting the rental deadlines and supplying us with good tenants. I have moved quite a few times and used various different agents and they are definately one of the friendliest however I have to say their fees are higher than average but I suppose thats the price of a good service.

Booked to view a property at an open house at 12ish. Drove an hour to get there and called to say we were going to be 5 minutes late, to be met with a rude member of staff telling me the house was sold and that she had already called and spoke to me and cancelled the viewing. She hadn't . I had no phone calls all morning let alone answer and speak to someone. I asked what would have happened if I hadn't by chance called the office, would we have just been sat outside of the property and she didn't have any answer. When I asked to speak to a manager all she kept saying was I will call you back in a minute. So unprofessional, argumentative and a waste of my time and petrol.

Two stars is being generous. Our agent pushed us to up our offer even though we knew it wasn’t worth the asking price and as soon as the offer was accepted we didn’t hear from them again until collecting the keys. All our emails were ignored. They misinformed us about numerous things - length of lease, parking spaces, they said the boiler was serviced (it wasn’t) and strung us along for weeks. Due to this misinformation, our sale was dragged out for longer than it should’ve been. What should’ve been a fairly straightforward sale became an expensive and complicated one. Will NOT be going to them again.

I would leave 0 stars if I could. Abbotts was the agent we used when renting my mothers house. Then she sadly passed away and I needed help transferring details.agter threemonths of calls and emails no one answered or helped and I was offered £75 compensation. Avoid at all costs.
