GoogleI’ve had an excellent experience with Bobby. He’s been incredibly helpful, friendly, and accommodating throughout the entire process. Communication has always been clear and prompt, and he’s went out of his way to make everything as smooth as possible. Highly recommend!

Appalling and shocking Estate Agent that should not be in business and should be closed down. I cannot begin to describe the awful service provided by this estate agent. They never act in the owners behalf and carry out illegal practices, such as releasing a deposit to tenants before they have ended tenancy and check out is completed -which is breach of contract! Throughout the whole experience they have never acted in my interests and have always gone against what I have asked, despite me being a loyal customer for over 10 years. They are condescending, rude and no help whatsoever always belittling me on the phone, making me sound like my requests were stupid and that they were not going to complete these for me. Please read all these reviews before instructing them - we all cannot be wrong!!!!! They have caused me untold stress in an already stressful situation with a nightmare tenant that they RECOMMENDED to me and pushed for the tenancy. Please please do your research on these 'cowboy' agents.

We are very disappointed to read your review and we are sorry to hear you feel our service didn't meet your expectations. However, we do not think that it is a fair reflection of the events and our service. You had a sale and your tenant refused to move out which meant you lost your sale. We carried on trying to find the tenant a property to save you the cost and time of going to court. We eventually found the tenant a property and the day before she was due to move she advised she wasn’t able to get a deposit for her new property. We advised that you had a choice in either to gain possession of your property quickly then it might be in your best interest to release the deposit held on your property, to enable the tenants to move out. The other choice we gave was for you to start possession proceedings and regain possession of your property in 4-6 months time. As speed was of the essence, you chose the option of releasing the deposit, meaning the tenant vacated. Subsequently, the tenant has not left the property in the best condition and has taken an appliance. We are sorry that you feel this way but we felt it only fair to give you the options and advice on both scenarios and ultimately let you make the choice that would best suit your circumstances. We do not recall you advising at any point over the years of management that you were disappointed in our service. We do understand how disappointing it is to find the tenant left the property in such a condition.

GoogleAs a first time buyer, the process of buying a home can a daunting. Our agent Lewis Parker, made the transaction and process feel smooth and simple. He was available 24/7 and had the patience to answer all our questions however small or big they were. Micheal Anthony also aided us with securing a mortgage that was right for us. My first time dealing with a property company and it was not the best experience. I was looking to relocate to England, contacted them and made them aware that I am in Scotland so I would prefer a video viewing. However, I was strongly advised against it and was told by a member of staff that it was "unusual for us to let a property without a viewing". Fine, we arranged a viewing the following week. There were multiple confirmations, even one a day before the viewing was supposed to take place. Bearing in mind, I travelled more than 700MILES for a viewing, that was how sincere I was. I got a phone call on the day the viewing was supposed to take place, saying that the property was rented out. A short apology over the phone but there was no other recommendations as to what they could offer while I was there. I was really angry having spent hundreds on my travel and accommodation for nothing. Very irresponsible of them I would say. Does not have to take a first timer to know that this kind of service is unacceptable.

We brought our first home through Miles & Barr Cliftonville, we always found the staff to be friendly & helpful. Whilst arranging viewings staff were very good at finding houses to match our needs as a family. All the staff at Cliftonville office were extremely helpful especially Alice Fridd & the manager Joe Bull. Our review is mainly based on Louise Daly our sales progressor. Louise went above & beyond to help & guide us through the whole process. Due to Covid-19 our sale went over the normal timescales & Louise was amazing throughout the whole process. Louise always replied promptly to my emails & was there to reassure me when it felt like we would never exchange. I am so grateful to Louise for everything she has done for us since our offer was accepted on our first house on February 1st, It is now the end of August & we are finally in our new home!!

GoogleVery satisfied with the service from Miles and Barr, especially Lucy- she was fantastic at rectifying issues that were present in the property, she was always quick to respond and things just plain and simply got sorted. Our landlord was fantastic too, no complaints there at all. I would strongly recommend Miles and Barr to first time renters or anyone needing a good home, the service was truly beyond 5 stars. -From personal experience, this is the best property agent I have dealt with and would not hesitate to use again in the future.

GoogleWe dealt with Alice Fusco and she was amazing from the word go. She was a very personable and pleasant person from our first meeting. And she managed to find us tenants within 3 days whereas four other letting agents did nothing for 5 months. This enabled us to secure our dream home just in the nick of time as our documents were being sent back to us from the vendors solicitors. Can’t thank Alice enough for the brilliant service she gave us. We would highly recommend her and Mike and Barr to anyone.

Trustpilot£60 wheeze to get verified is not helping sell your home
As an investor, their idiotic £60 charge to get a customer verified means I wouldn’t even view a property with them. If looking to use them to sell, don’t, they are clearly more interested in cheap wheezes to make more money than getting the best price for your property. They make enough from their commission to cover this cost.

Sellers and buyers are required by law to have an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) check before a home can be marketed to buyers and a sale agreed to buyers. Like many other businesses within our industry, these checks are an additional charge as they are carried out by a professional, qualified third party.
