GoogleEwe move, sold our house on the first open day that we had, Howard dealt with our sale very efficiently, was always there to speak to us on the phone day or night, even at weekends, he is very easy to talk to and always gave sound advice when needed. I was recommended to Howard by my niece who bought her house through Ewe move and I would not have any hesitation in recommending Howard to friends, family and colleagues.

They stayed with us for the entire journey to completion and were always helpful, courteous, and persistent, despite difficult circumstances. GoogleThis will be the 3rd property I have sought to purchase through Miles and Barr in Ramsgate and although I did actually buy the previous two they, much like the current one, nearly fell through due to a combination of poor communication, handoff to various staff, and a general disinterest in following up with interested parties. Calls go unreturned, emails ignored. They paradoxically actually make it hard for buyers to buy a property. The time wasted on this (again) will make me seriously consider viewing any future property posted with MB Ramsgate and I would not entertain the possibility of them selling any of my portfolio as I know, buyers like myself, will get fed up chasing and I would run the very real risk of losing a sale or not realising highest return. Sadly, those selling their properties will likely be oblivious to these frustrations. I would stress my poor experience here with M&B is confined to Ramsgate - M&B Broadstairs have always been highly organised and even proactive. Google reviews appear to support my own experience of the 2 offices so lets hope someone in the Ramsgate (or at a long lunch) digests the feedback. Market is too competitive to get these basics wrong. As I write this today (Tuesday) and despite calls and emails chasing a response I still have no idea if an offer made 6 days ago has been rejected and neither have I been made aware of any other offers on the property. Trust someone will coerce M&B into action eventually so they can pick up their hard earned but this buyer is moving on.

GoogleI recently bought and sold through this agent .I was very impressed at valuation by the manner and knowledge of the valuer who advised me on a price very accurately. I was interested to see that all functions of the agent are divided into special teams so I was passed onto another team who visited to familiarize themselves with the property. They were courteous and thoughtful. Viewings were arranged well in advance and at my convenience. A different member of staff handled progress of the sale. I was impressed that every member of every team was professional and friendly. I have never dealt with an estate agent who works like this. The workers are all youthful and smart and a pleasure to deal with. I would use them again if ever I sold a property and recommend them highly I was just as pleased with the service i received when buying at the same time through this agent. Again good communication and a very professional service . It seems that whether buying or selling through this branch of the agent they offer a superlative service , I have bought and sold many times in UK and France and this is the best agent I have come across.

Agents very helpful when viewing houses; they knew all the information we wanted to know, and if they didn't they would let us know as soon as they found out. Very efficient at getting back to us with any queries about our house purchase. Dan was super helpful and even got back to us late at night when we had some questions. We would definitely use again if we needed to.

My experience of dealing with the Broadstairs Branch of Miles and Barr was positive from start to finish. They really are a first rate team and everyone my daughter and I engaged with was pleasant and helpful without being in anyway pushy, patronising or overbearing. I was particularly impressed with the viewing agents who provided access on the two visits I made to the property. They were both affable and obliging without being in any way intrusive. The person with whom I had regular contact was the Sales Coordinator for the Broadstairs office. The lady is totally professional in the service she delivers. She treated me with the utmost consideration throughout the purchase process keeping me well informed of developments and dealing with my questions and concerns in an exemplary manner. She’s cheerful, positive and exudes confidence - a real credit to the organisation she represents. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Miles and Barr to anyone looking to buy or sell a property in the Broadstairs area.

If I could leave less than 1 star I would!!If you place a deposit on a new property the warranty does not comply with the code of practice. Then when you complain you recieve a letter that blames you as the potential purchaser and is full of mistruths and fairy tales. Avoid at all costs!!Yes I got a reply, that failed to address any of my complaint, and blamed everything on me. Made up the contents of emails which do not reflect the emails recieved. Made other false staments of their actions to cover up their failings. But are not prepared to discuss the evidence with me that demonstrates their failings. They did point out that the warranty provider they relied upon was now based in Gibraltar and covers the EU! It turns out that the original warranty company went into liquidation several years ago!! Perhaps the less than one star was generous. Try minus one!!!!AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

A simple task saw a parcel of land for sale in deal. The ad as slightly confusing and so as a cash buyer rang the deal office to verify my thoughts and arrange a viewing. This began at 11.am five phone calls later still trying to get some one to ring me back. Finally at 3.30 a call. Guess what I did nt bother answering I was just so annoyed by their un professionalism.i have to say Claudia their receptionist was very polite each time I rang. I am an ex managing director myself in the service industry and was extremely disappointed I hope miles and Barr directors read this they have a lot of work to do. Will not be using or recommending this company to anyone until things improve.

GoogleBEWARE- DO NOT USE. The only agent that charge the seller for photos. Before the house went live I was approx £400 out of pocket. Agreed to 12 weeks which suddenly changed to 20 weeks. The sales adviser left so M&B couldn’t confirm the agreed duration. The property was shelved. Not one person viewed in 20 weeks. Only communication was to ask us to reduce the price. It just wasn’t working. I asked to go multiple agents M&B refused outright. I asked to reduce the length of the contract which was also refused. I’m very confused why they still wanted the house on the books. I hoped the manager of the ramsgate branch would be sympathetic but no just rude. I finally went to the head office. This was a waste of time. Still not allowed to reduce the contract length. Miles & Barr are not the company they once were. The reviews clearly tell the story in black and white. I will never use them again. What a waste of 20 weeks.

GoogleRamsgate miles And Barr must be the worst estate agents I’ve ever used. They got me to sign saying they’ve got someone in mind. Nothing came off that just to get me to sign as soon as I signed. I hadn’t heard anything from them for weeks and weeks I rang up to see what was happening, and the agent I was dealing with has left the office and not working there anymore, I asked someone about my property and they haven’t got a clue about it. No one at the Ramsgate agents has even been round my property to look. I rang up to complain that I haven’t heard anything from them and had no viewings at all as soon as I put the phone down after our conversation 28 minutes after I had a viewing what a load of rubbish they must think I’m stupid then after that still hadn’t heard anything for weeks rang up again to say, I still haven’t heard anything from you what is going on with my property for them to say we get someone to ring you back three days later, I get a phone call to say drop the price £30,000, so I done it on their recommendation and still haven’t heard from them so weeks , I rang to and give them two weeks notice to take my property off the market they said yes that’s fine we will do that not even asked me if there’s any problems if there’s anything they can do why am I taking the property off the market nothing from them whatsoever I said to the lady on the phone do I have to do this in writing, she didn’t have a clue and had to asked ask two other colleagues if I had too then came back on the phone and said yes you have to put it in writing, so I could’ve waited two weeks and it’s still Because it had to be in writing The time has come for my property to be off the market on the 29th of November. I have a look on the 2nd of December and still live for sale so ring the office again for them to say I don’t know why still on the market, I will sort it out today haven’t got a clue if that will happen. I can’t understand how there’s nearly 30 staff in one office and you never hear from anyone. God knows what they do so 20 weeks wasted and £200 wasted for photos I had to pay please don’t use you’ll be wasting your time and money
