Terrible website - they're very happy to waste flat buyer's timeRightmove is a terrible website for flat buyers, as very few flats include the most important details, such as the annual service charge and annual council tax costs. I'm also looking for a flat with a balcony and lift. You cannot search by any of these criteria; even though it is very simple improvement to implement. The only way to find a flat with a balcony and lift is to click into every single listing... well, it's pretty insulting that Rightmove think that people have nothing better to do! I have been using a competitor's website as it allows me to enter keywords and also search for a balcony.Every time I have run a search, I have had to click into each individual property to look for the annual service charge, only to then find it's not there. This is a really important factor for flat-hunters and I'm fed up with estate agents omitting this essential information. I then have to email the agents and give them all of my details just to obtain the service charge, which then turns out to be extortionate. I currently pay 5K per year on my service charge and 2K on council tax. I wish to move somewhere to reduce my costs but so far I have clicked into around 60 properties and only a handful had the service charge. This is why I'm giving Rightmove one star as they're very happy to waste potential buyers time by not insisting estate agents enter this crucial information, which the agents already have.

We rent, website was great for moving to a new city for work, but it can be clunky at times and found it easier to look at properties and then transfer to the actual letting agent site as there was to many layers between looking and actually getting to organise a viewing when using the site directly. Just about had it with Rightmove. Previous issues meant my account wouldn't work so I had to create a new one. Twice. Then there were the continuing bugs and poor functionality, such as not being able to edit existing searches and not being able to save houses and bungalows in the same search. This is basic stuff. These issues have been going on for years and any developer worth a wage could fix them in literally a couple of hours.Other problems include the fact properties are repeatedly advertised in the wrong categories and RM won't address it, despite them being well aware. Nobody searching for a terraced, semi or detached house wants to buy a lodge!!! So why are lodges always shown in these categories?Now, my Search and Alert page refuses to load at all, giving the repeated message "Just a secondWe are making some updates, we'll be with you as soon as we can." So I can't use the site at all. (And no, nothing to do with cookies or browsers).It's a shame because the layout and the format is fine, but nobody addresses these constant bugs and failings which means it's not really usable.
