At the beginning of the process of purchasing our home, I had a very positive experience with Lovell. However, communication issues arose along the way regarding the incentive that was initially offered. While the issue was eventually resolved, I had to make multiple efforts to get someone from customer service to contact me and schedule the home demonstration.On the day of the demonstration, February 15th, just one day before our scheduled key handover, we discovered that the carpet and vinyl flooring had not yet been installed. This was a significant oversight, only brought to our attention during the demonstration. It appears there was a failure in internal communication that allowed this to happen.During the demonstration, we also identified several issues with the property:The glass in the door leading from the living room to the garden was cracked.The shower in the en-suite bathroom was loose, crooked, and installed with the opening on the wrong side, making entry and exit awkward as it faces the sink.The kitchen counter had visible damage, as did the door of one of the cabinets.I was particularly surprised that no inspection had been conducted prior to the demonstration. It is unclear why no one reviewed the property to ensure it was ready, or why the absence of flooring was not addressed earlier.Our completion date was February 16th, and we were offered the option of collecting the keys that evening. However, we were informed that we would not be able to move in until 2:00 PM on February 17th, as the flooring installation and house cleaning were still pending.Given these circumstances, I chose to collect the keys on February 17th. It was extremely disappointing and frustrating to have to delay accessing our new home because it was not fully prepared by the agreed completion date.The house was delivered in a very dirty state; it didn't even seem like it had been cleaned. After 10 months, we are still dealing with unresolved issues, even though we have already reported them to the builder.I even had the audacity to claim that the house was not delivered with the mentioned defects, even though, on the inspection day, all the issues were reported by the employee in a document and recorded in the system. You have no control over your own system, it’s shameful.

Once you buy a house from them,forget about customer service after. Very rude and unprofessional staff!On the day we reserved the plot, no one showed a plan how the garden will look like. I have no words to express my disappointment. The garden can not be used at all as it has a slop which is around 2m and is extremely dangerous. They are saying that we have been informed on the day of reservation which is not true. The woman who sold us the house, Tracey was absolutely not interested of giving any information. She didn't even bother to show the plant. House architecture is really nice but quality is terrible. All our neighbours complain of issues too.Do not buy from Lovell!!!

Sue & Mick BarhamWe recently moved in to our new 3-bed home at Heath Farm. From the outset of the process we found the sales staff to be helpful, courteous, professional and supportive. We were kept informed on the build progress and asked regarding our requirements on aspects of finishing. In addition, we were contacted to check on a particular issue relating to conveyancing to ensure no problems meeting the target completion date. The care and attention really "came across". Since moving in we have been delighted with our house and feel completely at home.The hand over and informal home demonstration were well-handled; during both staff pointed out a few things needing attention that we may not have spotted straight away. A date for correcting of these "snagging items" was arranged for approximately 1 week after the demonstration. The appointment was kept, the "snagging guy" arrived on time, attended to all points, gave an explanation on one issue and pertinent advice on another - promoting confidence in Lovell's after sale customer care.Early days yet, we do take note of the adverse experiences of others on different Lovells sites and are certainly not dismissive of their comments. However, so far Heath Farm has delivered for us - thank you to Suzie and David - more of the same please Lovells.

Leaking radiator caused boiler to lose pressure and shut off. This has been fixed but damp stains all over ceiling and radiator wall still there. (reported over 2 months ago). En suite shower started leaking. Plumber has been round to fix the leak but damp stains all over lounge ceiling just left. Absolutely zero communication from site manager. The customer service is shocking. My mum bought a Redrow on neighbouring estate and had no issues like we have. We have more to report but what's the point. Such a shame because you get excited about having a new house and it falls apart once you're in it. I wouldn't recommend love to anyone.
