The move into our new home went reasonably well considering we have not previously moved for some circa 30 years. The staff at Lovell have been extremely helpful thus far albeit there are still a number of issues to be resolved which is to be expected in a new build property. The sales lady Cathy was very professional and courteous on the day we took up residence and endeavoured to assist in ensuring that everything was perfect for us which we found very reassuring.

Myself and my partner recently completed on a Lovell home. It has been the worst decision we have made. Lovell have handed over a very poor quality home and as a company have zero customer care. From the start of our journey buying our home it has been dreadful. The sales team made it beyond stressful and now living in our home we have had no contact from the customer care team unless we chased them up. Not to mention the house was handed over absoutley filthy, a brand new house should be clean nearing spotless. Our house was the opposite. I would not recommend buying a Lovell home to anyone. Believe the negative reviews, we wished we had. The snags in our home are more than snags, the whole house is poorly plastered and decorated amongst other things. We are lost for words for how we have been treated. We have made a official complaint and are yet to hear back, clearly a unhappy customer isn't as important once money has been exchanged.*edit* Our additional details have been passed as requested. Our complaint was not taken seriously extremely poor response and refusal to accept responsibility or offer any sort of compensation regarding the many issues we experienced. In efforts to fix the house many appointments were made with various workmen from LOVELL resulting alot not turning up as planned or point blank refusing to do work. Everything is a fight with the company it is exhausting. We are still waiting for our "snags" from Nov 2020 to be completed. Not only do we stand by our review, our opinion if anything of this company is worse than before.

Brought a house in 2014, sold it a few years later but the guys were brilliant during the sales and even put a window in a place that shouldn’t have had it but it wasn’t flagged to us on the design.There were some teething issues but their Maintenance guy - wish I could remember his name was amazing! Reminded me a little of Danny Devito!It’s a shame I’ve brought a house from a five star company now who are actually poor in comparison to Lovell! Would buy from Lovell again

Avoid Lovell at all cost! I have bought their house about 9 months ago and found around 50 snags myself. Then was fed up with it and hired an external company to do snagging report and they found another 90 or so.These would include things like:- no ducting (!!!!) for extractor hood- patio doors wouldn't fully close- mould in the attic- most windows badly fitted and won't fully open- dead grass in front garden on arrival- badly fitted tiles by contracted tiler who is a joke, guy wouldn't even use a level tool or spacers- leak under bathCustomer care team might as well not exist. They won't respond to emails or refuse to fix most of the snags.Never buy a house with these guys!
