Excellent service. Opted for sale by Auction. Buyers attended open day on 11 March, house sold on auction the following day and for £7,000 above the asking price. Everything from Viewings, preparation of auction pack and conveyancing all arranged with Reed Rains in Preston. I found the auction option much quicker than sale through the conventional way. Legal documents scanned and signatures done via email which was great for me as I live in Kent. Absolutely excellent and first class service by the Reed Rains Branch in Preston and their Legal and Auction Teams. Customer experience outstanding. Patricia Daley

Complete waste of time. Went to view a property with them which was lovely told them I wanted to take the property with them and they emailed me the next morning to say that was fine and gave me details to pay the deposit and go ahead. 3 hours later someone left me a voicemail to confirm I wanted to go ahead which I had already told them I did. I returned the call and no one answered. After cancelling all my viewings I called back a few hours later to confirm before I paid and out of the blue was informed that the property had been given to someone else despite being offered to me literally a few hours before and no one had even bothered to call me or leave a voicemail or even an email. if I hadn't called again I would have paid the deposit and not even known. Shocking and unprofessional.

The absolute worst! Signing a lease with them has felt like serving time in jail. Everything’s broken and Nothing gets fixed, not even the basic essentials and no one cares and we can’t get out. From day 1 it’s been a chasing game of them promising to call back and never doing it and us chasing them. Started with unexplained fees and continues with a broken home that’s becoming a human rights issue...the only thing management can say is “do not stop paying rent. Never seen anything like this.

Appalling service from a buyer perspective. I emailed for viewing however, after two days of hearing nothing I telephoned to book. Viewing arranged for Saturday scruffy guy from agent turned up, wasn't interested knew nothing of property I felt rushed however, I made an offer by email, again not picked up then agent called after a chase email. She said, I would have to take proofs of ID in for HMRC money laundering rules before offer could be put to vendor. I said surely not as money laundering is proceeds of crime legislation and that would be a better for my solicitor and bank to prove as Reeds Rains are the mere agents. She argued saying it was policy. She went on, anyway we want to chat about funding, mortgages we can offer etc. I declined saying I had matters in place. She banged on it was policy. After arguing she agreed to put offer to vendor. Guess what, he sold it on 4th December two weeks before the viewing. What a total waste of time more so if I had listened to the horrid women insisting I prove myself before offer was put to vendor. If you have a property with Reeds Rains Preston I won't be viewing it.

I've had a terrible experience not only with this branch at Preston but with the whole company nationally. They lost the keys to my property, then eventually found them but it forced me to leave my property unlocked for a number of hours due to the mistake. They messed my tenant about and refused to return her deposit even though i the landlady had given them permission verbally, via e.mail and through the complains department. My tenant is still waiting for her deposit. This company and this branch are an absolute disaster, i wouldn't trust them with your property or as a tenant, they won't return a deposit even though a landlady has given express permission to return it. I do not reccomend this agency to anyone.

Seeking to move from Herts to Lancs, I went on a mad three-day viewing trip over three locations. My first viewing in Preston on the middle day was with Reeds Rains, but the house wasn't quite right for my requirements. When she heard this from the agent, Hollie put her thinking cap on and mailed me a couple of hours later with another house she thought would suit me: I wouldn't have found it as it was over my price limit, but she explained there might be a little flexibility. We arranged a viewing for the end of the day, and the house turned out to be perfect! Since then communications have been excellent, the screening process was quick and painless, and I'll be moving in next month. Really brilliant service so far.

Hi everyone. I have had a great experience with reeds rains. After my property had been ruined by previous tenants i did not know which estate agents to use and was concerned that it had been empty for quite some time. I had been under a great dea of stress and holly and her team made an impossible dream.become possible by getting the house tenanted within a very short space of time. They were extremely positive and upbeat about finding a tenant and had it rented out in no time which I was and am delighted about. If you give them a chance like I did, your fee will be worth the wait. Thanking you Holly Rebecca, mark, Kyle and all team at Preston Reeds Rains for going the extra mile. Otherwise the house would have been sitting empty. I have used other estate agents who have failed to rent it however reeds rains were absolutely perfect and rented it out in no time. Once again thankyou and if I buy another property I know who to come to next!! We decided to put our house up for sale with reeds rains after a very easy to understand consultation with branch manager Niki. They managed to sell our house within 4weeks with the help from the staff who kept me informed at every stage of the process. We also decided to go with Mr Bentham mortgage advisor in the branch who was very professional and helpful and helped us along the way buying out new house. NikI was very helpful and determined to get us over the line on completion. I will definitely recommend this branch and staff who were brilliant throughout the process and took a lot of stress out of moving. Martin.
